Its a seriously cool mode, except for the fact that i had to trade damn near everybody away the 1st season i was GM to appease the owners requests. Talk about a challenge!

Oh good so I wasn’t the only one that the owner demanded trade basically every one. He wanted 3 first round picks in the following draft.

Mine just wanted "A top pick" in the draft, which i got #1 (Got 3rd the 1st time, but shut the game off through task manager so it didnt have a chance to save). When i loaded it back up, the lotto gave me #1, lol.

Who was you owner pushing you to trade for? Mine kept on telling me i had to get Ginobili, but i really didnt have anyone left on my team that i could or would trade for him, since i traded a ton of players away for higher draft picks (that i eventually didnt need). The funny thing was the Spurs kept telling me, "We really love this player so its going to take a really good offer that blows us away for us to trade him". I eventually gave up and the owners son ended up trading for him BEHIND MY BACK! Then a month later once the season ended, Owner sold the team back to the original owner and Ginobili retired, effectively blowing draft picks and a few players i cant remember right now all for a month of Manu coming off the bench behind Booker. Im just wondering if the player the owner targets is always the same of different, so let me know who you had to trade for.

My owner wanted Zubac the first save. Second time through I preemptively traded for zubac and then he wanted David west.

About to try my 2nd time and see what happens. Wondering if randomizing the personality of the owner will change the outcome? Only one way to find out!

I need to catch up on this. I only watched the first season. I just got done with a stretch of watching some very high quality shows, so I thought I'd mention

Halt and Catch Fire - if you are a fan of quality writing, acting, the 80s-90s, the tech boom...this show is riveting...far better than it sounds, and it gets better throughout.
The Expanse - if you like sci fi...with a little more meat to it..it takes a few episodes to get into because it is complex, but is very good
Dark - this show is a must watch. I can't even say much...but just one season...on netflix...it draws you in and gets especially good from episode 5 on.
Godless - solid western....a bit slow moving but very well done
Punisher - I didn't have this in mind when I started typing this, but I watched it before all these others and it's definitely addicting as well.

I've got to catch up on this. For some reason I was thinking it went downhill after the first season.

I just started Legion. I have a thread on the Media Lounge here asking people their top 10 shows of 2017...I was surprised to see Legion get a few mentions as one of the best shows of the year...

Turn: Washington's Spies was a great series ... made a bit of U.S. History very interesting
Bosch: This is a good one, especially if you have read any of the Michael Connelly books
Vikings: Another good one that ties in some world history with Norse mythology
House of Cards: Freaks me out with the current political state in the U.S. ... Spacey F'd it up though
The Keepers: Caught my attention and has me wondering if there will be a second season

I watched a couple episodes of Turn, and thought it sounded interesting, but never heard anyone else ever talk about it, so I just kind of assumed it wasn't very good and didn't continue.

Bosch...I thought season one was ok but season two was markedly better...did they do season 3 already?

Vikings..watched first two seasons I think and then kind of fizzled out on it.

House of Cards..watched it until the latest season and tried starting it twice and watched some of the first episode but didn't feel like continuing so probably won't.

Haven't heard of The Keepers.

Actually you are kinda right. Second season is somewhat boring. Most people say it was a transition season.

I really liked a lot of the episodes of this season. Maybe none as good as San Junipero, and some that are ranked low on some lists I really liked. I'd have to rewatch last season to really compare though. I really liked Crocodile, Hang the DJ and Black Museum. Space Fleet was good but a little long and some of the space scenes a bit silly. Arkangel was pretty good and Metalhead wasn't great but somewhat terrifying.

Other shows I've watched lately and loved:

TV - These are all on netflix

Dark - This show is amazing

La Casa De Papel - This was really interesting...if you like heist shows you'll like this

Halt and Catch Fire - I loved this...maybe not for everyone, more of a serious drama but interesting as it takes place through the rise of the PC and internet...phenomenal characters though

The Punisher - This was great, but really violent

Travelers - starts out really different than season one, but gets better after three episodes or so, and gradually ramps up and gets better and better as it goes and the last four episodes were crazy good

Godless - Good western

Movies

Molly's Game - Very interesting - saw this today and the story is just crazy. I want to read the book after seeing it.

Shape of Water - Probably best movie of the year, though with Molly's Game fresh in the head it's up there too.

Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri - Very good with great acting...all of the three mentioned so far have great acting

The Showman - Fun movie....good family movie with good music, though you might have to not mind musicals

All the Money in the World - Decent...interesting story

On Amazon Prime, watching Miss Sloane and then probably Shot Caller with Jon Bernthal and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
A newly released prisoner is forced by the leaders of his gang to orchestrate a major crime with a brutal rival gang on the streets of Southern California.

If you have any good tv or movie recommendations, let me know

Marco Polo is somewhat interesting. It's on Netflix
I'm trying to get back into Mr Robot, but it's such a slow show.
The Punisher wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'm not a fan of Marvel/DC movies/show anymore unless it's graphic. I'm tired of them being so Disney-like. Another Netflix show I need to watch is Narcos but it's one of those shows that you can't keep your eyes off since it's in Spanish and I have to read the subtitles
Still haven't watched WestWorld or whatever it's called though I have HBOG0.
I also just finished Criminal Minds on Netflix.

This is a good series, releasing this Friday on Amazon Prime, and I'm sure available in other places shortly thereafter.

Also recently watched 7 Seconds on Netflix...which was somewhat addicting and powerful.

Imposters on Netflix is pretty entertaining as well....funny...a show about cons like Sneaky Pete.

La Casa De Papel, now named Money Heist on Netflix was entertaining as well if looking for something to watch.

Homeland is pretty interesting this season also.
