Home stretch and playoffs.

But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"

I don't understand though. Lue is an NBA coach which means a coach at the highest level. Is he just plain untalented as a coach or does he see something we don't?

Hey SSB, care to share your thoughts on LeBron this season, or are you waiting for the playoffs to see how he does? Just wanted to pick your brain a little :D

Those 2 fade away shots were so ridiculous last night.. If that January month wasn't so bad for the cavs as it was, he'd be way more in the MVP discussion. Shame, but Harden is very deserving of this year's MVP so I doesn't bother me as much as previous years.

LeBron and the Cavs like most good teams(i.e. the Spurs) are increasing production for the playoff push.

All-Star Break was much needed.

Last 12 games, since the trades, have been ridiculous. 30/10/11 on 63% TS. Might be one of the best stretches of his career.

Before last year, averaging a triple double for as long as he has now (a month or more?) would have him as the story of the league, whereas now people aren't even putting him in honorable mention for PoY ballots.

LBJ is -23 at half. No other player is even -10. LeBron having a rough night.
Only 10 Players in NBA history have 20,237 points, 5,504 assists and 5,592 rebounds. LeBron has double those numbers.

Green is such a bad fit with Lebron why is he on in crunch time they don’t need to guard him

It's fine when he doesn't shoot 3-12 and 0-5, simply 2-5 from 3 and this would probably have been a winnable game.

Korver being 0-4 doesn't help either.

I am all in on a Raps vs. Rox Finals but mind says we still end up with Cavs vs. GSW somehow with GSW winning in 5 at most.

Portland/Utah vs. Toronto/Boston. OKC would have been my favorite, but they're done with the Roberson injury. I honestly think OKC may be first-round fodder depending on who they play.

The team just continues to get off to slow starts no matter who's in the lineup. Don't know what to make of it anymore. The 2nd unit always comes on the court and immediately does better.

This team is so one dimensional. Basically we can only win if we're hitting a high percentage of threes. Because we have only one creator in LeBron, no offensive system, terrible defense, and poor rebounding. I honestly think Toronto is beating this team in 6, max. They're amazing at defending the three and Lowry and DeRozan will feast on Hill and JR. We have no one to guard Jonas or Poetl either.

We should expect the offense to get better as the team gets more practice time. Multiple reporters have said the offense is very basic right now because the new guys don't know a lot of the plays, so they're running a very basic offense, and you can see it. Whenever a team switches on defense, all the Cavs can counter with is an iso. Maybe practice time will help the nightly rags or riches offense.

The defense still remains a problem.

An old Bill Simmons article from 2011: http://www.espn.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/110128&sportCat=nba

And if you want to think about something truly frightening, consider the following four things ...

1. LeBron James passed 16,000 points a few weeks ago. It took him fewer than 600 games.

2. Barring injury and a prolonged lockout, by the end of his 10th season (2012-13), LeBron should be sitting at 22,000 points.

3. If LeBron plays the next seven and a half seasons 85 percent as well as he played the previous seven and a half seasons, he'll be sitting at 30,000 points, 7,500 assists and 7,500 rebounds ... and he'll be 33 years old. A few months older than Kobe right now.

4. Like it or not, we are all going to be witnesses.
