We'll still probably end up finishing with the 9th worst record. Almost impossible to catch the teams ahead of the Knicks with the games left.

I don't understand. Aren't we a half a game behind Chicago(in 8th), and considerably worse than them since KP went down?

I have two fears:

1. The NBA ignored the fact, teams were tanking intentionally because they have a soft spot for franchises in certain places. For example, Chicago Bulls have had Elton Brand, Jay Williams, Lamarcus Aldridge, Ben Gordon, Derrick Rose, Ben Gordon..picks in the top 5 CONSTANTLY through the lottery. Orlando had Shaq, Webber, Dwight Howard, Victor Oladipo, Mike Miller, Aaron Gordon in the top 5. Then you have the latest model, the Sixers...I'm not knocking those franchises. I'm saying if the NBA wanted to address this problem they could have a decade ago but they didn't...only now, when 1/3rd of the league is DREADFUL. Owners are finally wising up and thinking, "Hey, none of these players want to come to my team unless I drastically overpay and then we STILL stink. Might as well tank."

2. The Knicks KEEP underestimating the value of positioning in the draft. The Knicks don't need another "role player" You need a KEY piece that will compliment KP and Frank. This is the most difficult part of rebuilding, finding the piece that not only produce but also make every one around them better. The Knicks have not drafted that in a very long time.

It's amazing how BADLY the Knicks have drafted even when they've had first round picks. Porzingis is the BEST draft pick the Knicks drafted Rod Strickland in 1988. The next best draft pick is x2 former NBA All-Star and member of the 2015 NBA Champions, David Lee.

David Lee is the BEST story of a former Knick in the last 17 years.

That's sad.

The Knicks better WAKE up and get someone who compliments KP and Ntilikina. Not some "baller" who thinks score first and let me dish to fill out my stat sheet. Players today have a poor understanding of how to win in the 4th. They really do.

That leads me to my next argument which is getting a real coach but that's another story for another day.

At one point today on the radio they made a joke about how Troy Williams is just another Williams in the long list of Williams that have played for the Knicks. We've really had a bunch of them over the years...
