Read on Twitter

This is the only way to play defense with IT on your team and it's heavily dependent upon him hustling out to the three point shooter (which he rarely did when he was on the Cavs).

**** IT3 and all the trash surrounding that deal/ all this **** in the news because we are playing the Lakers tonight first time since trade etc it's all hearsay opinionated bull.Who **** cares what Lebron felt about it etc. I definitely wish we would have never done the deal with Boston not because we got rid of Irving but but because we overvalued the midget not having enough other solid offers and none with the potential major upgrade from this draft with the pick to allow us to walk from the deal. Nets pick is still valuable, just how valuable remains to be seen but it sure as **** doesn't help us win anything this season.

I can't wait for Love to return so J. Green can go back to playing limited minutes. Also, Clarkson needs to stop playing like a homeless man's version of Kyrie where everyone in the arena knows he isn't going to pass it.

This is the first game I actually watched in a long time. This is a minor complaint, and I don't know how much of a difference it makes, but all his career I've known Green to be a PF and LeBron a SF; now they're switched around for what reason?

While a fine/decent player, JR is useless in this lineup; maybe he would be decent off the bench.

I'm not convinced we even need George Hill as much as like him. Jose is so freakin' solid in the minutes he plays that he could literally be your starter (ideally your backup).

Zizic playing well in the minutes he gets (dat pass by LBJ :o).

I would've moved JR at the deadline at tried to acquire a rim protector instead of Hill, but they were so fixated on him for some reason. You have no centers and you have Clarkson, Hill and Calderson (all capable). Channing still could've been productive for us instead of rotting away in LA.

This is literally just the same bull with new faces; it's a combination of Lue's ineptness and poor management - setting players up to fail.

Playing good considering the injury bug.
Zizic continues to look solid ,needs more minutes. Wouldn't mind him at the 5 with Nance at the 4 but that leaves us with no fresh legs option so it's unlikely

So what did you guys have for dinner tonight? It surely must've been more interesting than this game.

Seriously, it's just the same regurgitation of the same **** game after game: horrible lineups and a horribly-constructed roster (even with the decent deadline); the only thing worth speculating on is LeBron's fate, and they've given no indication they can put it together even if he comes back.

Looked ok for awhile then became another bad shooting night to much iso failures etc. All goes back to never establishing any cohesion before another player is hurt etc every change just adds to the issue of not having played together enough.
Zizic is the only positive tonight.

How does Zizic look defensively?

They could've traded it all away for a chance at a title this season but decided to save the pieces for a decade of being a five-seed incase LeBron leaves.

Fine, but nothing to get excited over.

Probably my favorite lineup is LeBron at center and Green at power forward, but it was also nice to see Holland play the four tonight; it's only a matter of time before Calderon becomes a SF.

Calderon at SF? Really? I guess he has been shooting the ball really well

The last part was sarcasm; if you watch the Cavs they've been playing players almost exclusively out of position all season.

But sarcasm aside probably my favorite part of tonight's game was watching Zizc and Calderon.

We had Love, TT, Hood and Cedi out. At one point, we literally had two-thirds of the Canton Charge on the floor. The only player who is scaring me is Clarkson. He's got to start running an actual offense.

Fun fact: IT scored all his points against Calderon.

This season is finished as far as I'm concerned. It doesn't matter who we have out there. We can't defend anything. And we just run predictable ISO LeBron high post action all game long. Time to think about who we're picking in the draft at 7-9. We better tell Lue to take a hike in the summer because I can't watch another full year of this garbage.

When you have this many rotation players hurt the ball movement is dead. This team isn't finished. My hope is these rooks like Zizic an Holland finally getting grind will pay dividends in the playoffs once the majority of the injured players are back. Having proven options leaves Lue with no choice but to utilize a deeper rotation with replacement level players at every position 3 deep instead of 2.
If he doesn't and rolls out slumping or fat sg and centers riding the coattails of a championship 2 seasons ago with proven better options riding the pine, this org will fire him because we will fail.

Well considering he is only 21 and really hasnt played much at all in this league, im more surprised his defense is as you say fine. It means he can only get better. C s always take a bit longer to develop anyway. He was always good at finding open spaces and easy shots, glad it translated, but still needs alota work.

Zizic has looked alright, but he's mostly just scoring due to defensive breakdowns by the other team, specifically their second units, and his defense is just okay. He's currently really out of shape and gets winded easily. As he plays more and he gets put in other team's scouting reports, he's going to look worse. Same thing happened to Cedi as teams now just stick a big on him, which hurts the Cavs' offense because he's too raw offensively to make them pay for it. And defensively they both foul a lot, though I'm not worried about that because those are just due to typical rookie inexperience.

I think both will be very good in a couple years, but right now they look like rookies. I don't think you should really play either one more than 5 minutes per game in the playoffs. Though to be honest, we might have to because JR and Tristan are so damn awful.
