Well, first I wake up every morning at 4:45AM to milk the hogs before saddling up and riding my finely tuned filly into town once a week to catch up with the local happenstance and buy some new feed.
The traffic is so bad on I-10 though, what with all the new horse drivers trying to learn how to rein them all in. Some days it’s just a mess.
After a few officiated duels and the occasional disorderly brawl, we all shift down to the speakeasy outside market square to down a fifth of rotgut before moseying on back to our fields.
I usually hear tales of the rockets while waiting around near a telegraph station wherein such events are relayed through live announcement over the course of a 17 hour transcription, but since I have cows to herd, I usually have to stick to the highlight reel.
After finishing my jaunt, I usually meander back into my field to sit out and stare at the stars while planning out next year’s crop rotation.
Needless to say, realgm renders very slow by postage-relayed morse code.

You only got one thing wrong...we all ride tractors and zero turns these days. Progress!
