Teams can't sit healthy players for high-profile, nationally televised games, and fines for violating that can be for at least $100,000. The rules also say that unless there are unusual circumstances, teams should not rest multiple healthy players for the same game or rest healthy players when playing on the road.

A loss to the Rockets would drop the Spurs to 10th place in the West tonight with the Jazz (head-to-head) and Nuggets (conference record) currently holding tie breakers.

Also he’s 40 years old now.. Turns 41 in a few months.

It’s a miracle he’s still even able to play in the NBA.

I assume you are talking about Toyota Center?

Most of those center lower bowl seats are corporate seats. They are bought in group by big oil companies to entertain their customers. Those guys either give away tickets to whom don't even know who James Harden is, or in the arena but still drinking wines at the bar, "socializing", only casually show up in 3rd quarter.

Oh and plus Monday afternoon traffic, or maybe a stalled truck on i-10...

When they opened Toyota center, they didn't put a restriction on the number of seats corporate clients can buy, so they bought entire rows or whatever and only use them for corporate events/visitors/people. When they try to sell them, they're 500+ dollars each seat.

Its a joke.

Its been a MAJOR problem over the last 2 decades. We have one of the worst attendance rates for the lower section in all of the NBA. Rockets don't seem to care however, as they still get their premium cut
