Bad 4Q. Was competitive up to then. Solid game from Russell, but he didn't get any help.

Yeah.. 2.5 quarters.... after that effort was pretty much gone and we played selfish ball with no defensive effort.

chance ot make up for it vs. a good toronto team tuesday. i expect a much better effort

I do too. Just be competitive. If Tor wins, as they are expected to do, make them earn it. Put them through their paces.

yea seriously...KA won't let him play more than 30s, won't let him take more than 20 shots on a hot night like this while rest of guys bricking everything. If Dlo was on another team playing 36 mins taking 15-20 shots he would be avg 25, 5, and 5 atleast.

I'm not sure his body is there yet to play 36.

KA said it's on him the team lost the game. Says they were dominated in every aspect of the game, including coaching.

How's the crowd. Supporting the team.

Crowd was decent but there were a ton of sixer fans.

Nets played hard for 3 1st rd but Sixers were on fire from the field and the Nets' defense as a team was putrid. Offensively Russell was the only one who really had it going but that also led to him forcing things as the game progressed.

We also sat across from Bryan Colangelo

playing allen only 15 mins..stuck with crabbe, caroll, harris while they're struggling. could've given acy and cunningham more runs.
probly staukas could've contributed too. not getting a tech for his players when the refs blew the whistles. not telling his players to go hard after rebs and looseballs. the list goes on...

One player came to play for the Nets tonight. And it's sad.

We're a 21 win team. And one player showed up to play the 76ers wit some actual competitiveness.

DLo had a very good game. I wish I could say the same for other people in that starting line up and that bench.

My seats were beautiful tonight. I can post more pics if you want but I have an android so pics suck.

Also, the courtside club in Barclays is lit. TONS of food. Beautiful women everywhere. I ate like a pig.

I got the hook up thru a friend of my friend who is a long time nets employee and insider. I not only experienced first class treatment at Barclays but I learned tons of dirt on Jason Kidd, Deron Williams, Richard Jefferson etc. Richard Jefferson is a wild dude. Deron Williams should commit seppuku.

The main takeaway from the gossip part is that Vince Carter is a really awesome person. Like, a really good guy. That made me happy to hear.

+1 the few minutes he was in last night. one on one he stopped Biid and beasted Covington. 'course, it didn't take him long to get winded.

He didn't get winded. He took a shoulder to the jaw and was bleeding a lot from the mouth. They couldn't check him in b/c his mouth was full of blood.

ah I was wondering what happened to him. he kind of left the court in a hurry. too bad, that was the most fired up i've seen him play. he needs to come out in every game just like that, looking to play defense, take the ball to the rim for dunks and flatten people on screens.

Didn't see any discussion here but it looked like RHJ responded to DLo on Twitter with:

PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH

Which is umm interesting.

He wouldn't be wrong though if that was directed at him (i hope to god that it wasn't). Russell needs to come out every game like he did versus Philly and Golden State, and not the way he played in the games where he was watching the end from the bench.

that being said, looking at Rondae's twitter feed god knows what he's talking about. also, that wouldn't be good leadership on his part if he really did aim that at a teammate on social media. If there's an issue, talk about it like adults...after the way i watched the Giants act like badly behaved children on twitter last season I would prefer not to see any Nets player go that route. I'm sure Marks and Kenny would feel the same.

Yeah, you're right about Rondae's feed.

Doesn't seem like Rondae to call out a teammate on twitter. If there's something going on, take care of it inhouse.

And I hear you on the Giants. Little league.

all apologies. was it Biid? (there was a rumor in Philly that Biid and OK4 were scrimmaging against each other the summer of '16, real hard, and OK4 took a shot to his recuperating knee that set him back big time. like he was never really right all last season. don't know, probably just talk.)

Tracking players performance vs 76ers 11 Mar 2018

DAR - 45 (++)
RHJ - 23 (+)
Dinwiddie - 20 (=)
CLV - 15 (=)
Allen - 10 (-)
Cunningham - 9 (-)
Okafor - 8 (-)
Stauskas - 8 (-)
DMC - 5 (--)
Crabbe - 4 (--)
Acy - 4 (-)
Harris - 1 (-)
Mozgov - 0 (--)

Only DAR bringing it on, RHJ was alright - the rest needs to buck up.
