Bizarre 1st half, after no-defense in 1st quarter we played one of best defensively quarters this season in 2nd.

Seems to me guys really want playoff this season and fight hard, with this mindset we should win tonight (and reach playoff if they stay in that spirit until end of the season).

I will never understand these Malone benching decisions toward Jokic. He played only 8 minutes in 1st half, so why he did not play whole 3rd quarter? We have momentum and 13+, so why is he substituted in last 3 minutes, so Lakers reduce deficit on 5+ until end of the quarter.

Straight up blew it. Bench set the tone for the comeback in the 2nd quarter, then came back and blew the lead and gave away all the momentum in the 3rd/4th

Benching Jokic at the start of the 4th quarter , who just started to play great and who only played 18 minutes at that moment in the game , was the main reason Denver lost this game, Malone is horrible in every aspect of coaching, he's screwing up yet another season.

Would’ve been nice to get a call, but you can’t expect that in LA against the lakers. Still nowhere near as bad as the really poorly reffed games like Boston or San Antonio. But the no call on randle throwing Jokic to the ground on the last play was a pretty perfect cherry on top.

Malone is an idiot. In the same part of the game, close to the end of the 3rd quarter, he shutdown team which lead vs Clippers +19 and vs Lakers +13 with his awful rotation decisions. Also, vs Dallas he decided to "discipline" Jokic at the end of the 3rd. With this 3 unnecessary loses in last 8 matches which we should win, we are now #10 on the West instead of #4. Also, why since comeback Millsap playing just 25 minutes per game every match?
