Once again, the Nuggets prove they can lose any game to any team. With the Lakers missing a couple of key players, especially Ingram, this should have been a fairly easy win.

I'm not going to blame this game on the officials. Jokic's fouls were more or less legitimate. Sure, sometimes they call them, sometimes they don't, but you have to play the way they ref each game and Jokic didn't do that in the first half - he did better in the second half. It's the way it goes.

Chandler had one good quarter.
Murray had two decent quarters.

Other than that, the Nuggets just seemed a step slow during the entire game. They just didn't seem ready to play. It wouldn't have been close except the Lakers had a terrible 2nd quarter.

I know the refs never call inbounds violations after baskets but at least twice Randall was clearly on the court before releasing the ball. Not a big deal and doesn't really affect the game - just a sample of another way the NBA ignores their own rules and we've all seen many other examples over the years.
