Wiz had a 7 point lead with something like 9 minutes to go, and they seemed to go through this over-confidence thing where they completely lose their focus. Oubre missed a FT, and then... no defense whatsoever. That Euro forward on Minny made 2 straight easy layups followed by a wide open 3 pointer. All of a sudden, what should have been an 8 point lead was a tie. I changed the station, and a minute later, Minny was up by 5. It's this falling asleep after they build a lead that's killing them. And I think they believe that these sleep-runs are just a part of the game. But it doesn't have to be if you don't lose focus. But Beal... he's one of the top handful in the NBA at getting open shots. He was taking smart shots that he was able to use screens or create space - very makable. But he keeps missing them when the game's on the line. I am not going to blame Brooks when the Wiz are getting good shots from arguably their most talented player. Any coach is going to be happy his team got those shots. But Beal's a 2 guard. The ball should be in the hands of the PG - who then feeds Beal or - better yet - Porter - though Otto had a bad game last night. Very frustrating loss. The last play just can't happen.

Oubre was also guarding Tyus Jones on that run who had a backdoor cut on a layup in the 4th quarter too, he had the worst +/- in the game at -15. Overall, the bench unit that they put on in the 4th quarter wasn't very good that helped Minnesota get their offense going with a game high 34 points in the quarter.

Boston is missing it's starting line-up and half the team.

A loss tonight would be the low point of the season.
