I could see the Timberwolves moving him to get out of his deal.

Stanley Johnson
Jon Leuer
Langston Galloway
Ish Smith

And either Kennard or Bullock

For Wiggins and low paid fillers

Our lineup would be

Jackson
Kennard or Bullock
Wiggins
Griffin
Drummond

People are really down on Wiggins and I think this is a realistic way of obtaining some potential. Gores would have to open his pocketbook though as we'd have a ton tied into 4 players.

Thoughts ?

This is the type of player you use Tobias and a 1st for... we had a perfect opportunity to make something big happen this summer but f*cked it up on January 29th.

I would try and get Griffin into the deal lol. In the more than likely event they want no part in his contract I would do the deal above but include Bullock instead of Kennard.

Then I would look to move Griffin to Phoenix, hopefully we can get back some prospects (Jackson but more likely Bender) and get back to being young, and then all we need is a new coach and gm that’s committed to development and culture, instead of these incredibly pathetic short term playoffs “goals”. Gosh I hate Gores, it amazes me that even self made billionaires can be so stupid!

"I could see the Timberwolves moving him to get out of his deal. "

So to get out of his deal, they'll trade him for some overpaid roll players? Not likely. I don't think he's a great fit for them with Butler in town, but his "down" season is still 18ppg as a 23 yr old.

But yeah, we obviously could use a young stud on the perimeter. Wiggins is scoring more in his 36 minutes than SJ and Bullock together.

Sounds fantastic to me. Gores is gonna make a move like this for sure. Its either Wiggins or they trade Leuer Galloway Ish for Batum and keep all our young guys. Or they trade for Fournier with Leuer Galloway and Luke.
Let's get Wiggins! How much does he make per year? We'll have 4 massively paid 3rd tier stars and nothing else hahaha lordddddd
And once Blakes contract runs out in 2040 we can finally get back to basics and build a real team that resembles our championship squads

Wiggins is extremelly inneficient and bad, and he has an absurd contract. No one is giving any sort of value for him and that contract. I would think 10 times before offer Jon Leuer and Reggie Jackson for him.

It's not outside the realm of possibility. But, the Wolves are doing well this year, and I don't see how our poopoo platter improves their team.
