I picked OKLA as well. The only way to get screwed early is to pick a major upset that doesn't happen, and then the team you picked to be upset advancing multiple rounds...or for one of your final 8 or especially final 4 and champion picks go down early.

Updated scores after first day of games.... http://games.espn.com/tournament-challenge-bracket/2018/en/group?groupID=2369899

PPR (possible points remaining) is worth more than score so far because if you did good in the first round and picked AZ for example, to go far, your PPR is likely low even though you might rank high on current score.

Wonder how many people picked Arizona to lose? I'm so used to that team underachieving that it was a no brainer to pick Buffalo. It was so nice to see Arizona players declare for the draft before they even left the court. That team just quit. Shameful.

9 people picked AZ to win it all and 7 had Virginia to win it all (including me). The people who had Kentucky or Cincy in the final four probably have a huge advantage right now.

The funny thing is we all know UMBC isn't going to sniff the Final Four, so not sure that's going to really make the point UCF wants...

...that anything can happen when you get a chance to prove it on the course/field.

I cannot believe anyone chose either. Arizona was always the big time homer pick bound to fall miserably short and Virginia always has their style fall to pieces when the going gets rough.

Revenge of the 11th seed! Two 3 seeds go bye bye. Yesterday, Loyola over Tennessee; today, Syracuse over Mich. State!

You're in 2nd place right now with 470 points behind

is in third with 460. However, darealjuice (Kansas) and VCfor3 (Michigan) each have 1,040 possible points remaining, but you all three have different champions.

Harry Garris is tied for 3rd but champion pick MSU is out so only 200 possible points remaining.

Wickzi, TMU, Jamaliver and Jake0890 all very much alive and whoever misunderstood the instructions and used "RealGM" for their username and picked Texas Tech is probably still alive solely on the chance that if they win it all, they probably win the contest. And danny11 is in last place with 260 but is the only person to pick Purdue to win it all, so maybe a win is possible there.

Mario_Kasun, Chocolate City Jordannaire, Vidaldo, Rose2Boozer, TAi, FNQ, KevinJ2017, Clyde Frazier, Nameless, TASTIC, dorkestra, Fresh360Waves, K-Dot, mofrad, Nowitness, ATRAIN53, BorkLazer, 93ado, janmagn, h-bra, duke4life831 and vincecarter4pres all have a chance of finishing high too if their pick to win it all is right.

Some others who's champion is out could have a chance, because other than that, they still rank high in current points (Tankfest,2018, skizzy3907568, Black sultan, Celticsfan34, DJPUFFNSTUFF, travismr1992, keloms, statrax, kkrich, Banana milk, Froob, Mr Miyagi, caseonpoint, CeltsFlow and a few others.
