Perfect time for vintage Al Jefferson to resurface

The offensive rebounds by the Raps are killing the Pacers.

They have 50 rebounds to 30 for the Pacers.

It's almost like having our top two centers injured makes it difficult :/

Honestly, despite the loss, pretty encouraged by the teams play, for the most part. Getting hammered on the boards isn't great, but injuries considered, not a huge surprise.

Didn't come away with the win but gave a good fight to the #1 seed. That's something. It would have been really cool to see Al power us to a win though. Oh well.

Hope Myles is okay.

I'm worried about Turners ankle.

I gotta say I came away really impressed with the hustle of the Pacers. They were all over the raps in the first half and their physicality was really starting to bother our younger players. You guys have a team to be proud of and you will not be able easy out in the playoffs. Good luck to you guys the rest of the way and I look forward to our final game in April.

P.S. those new Pacers uni's are pretty sick

Pacers played nicely in the first half (Jefferson was a HUGE contributor). But things settle down in the second. With Raptors starting front line and back-up bigs - rebounding advantage went to Raptors 58-35. That was a corner stone. raptors had 19 turnovers to Pacers 8, Raptors didn't shoot well, but...Being out-rebounded like that it's tough to get a positive outcome. Raptors got 39 defensive rebounds - means, Pacers were shooting not so good.
Good news - Cavs lost too.

that and the raps 3 point shooting. CJs were daggers. we surely knew the danger.

Cavs and Pistons also lost so we're still 3rd and the magic number for 8th went down 1.

What I have to say is not that the refs screwed either team (they were pacer friendly in the 1st half, Raptor friendly in the 2nd).

But that they were so DAMN inconsistent. They established a level of physicality by the Pacers in the first half, only to flip it in the 2nd half and start calling ticky tack fouls.

the Star calls it a high ankle sprain which can take into the playoffs to heal.

I think they got worried after Lance crowded the line with his post dunk bravado.
