Blake is a good player and all but he slows the game down too much...sort of like Greg Monroe did.

I disagree, I think we're lacking spacing and defense. If we had a competent SF we would've beaten Denver and Blake did well. Luke/SJ/Ennis and especially Ish were the problem.

I didn't watch the 1st quarter and part of the 2nd and part of the 3rd quarter. Whenever I watched we did well.

Ish was abused by Murray.

Blake hit some big 3's, especially when Buycks found him open.

Buycks was unstoppable. They tried everything, they have some good perimeter defenders and they couldn't do **** to stop Buycks. At the end he was tired, but I was happy SVG let him play the last few minutes.

Andre was impressive late, he was aggressive against Jokic and that helped keep the game close. Too bad he was terrible from the line. If he hit his FTs the game would've been really close.

Tolliver played well, when we were down by 30 or so, he was angry with the team, screaming, playing his ass off on defense and hitting some clutch 3's, that's what put us back into the game.

Blake is a diva, but he is a really good player.

Bullock is solid, he had some important mistakes but he make his open shots, is unselfish and he doesn't hide when the game is on the line, he will try to cut or be open and will take the shot.

SJ had some great defensive plays but he is a complete disaster on offense, he gotta go, he hurt us more than he help. I don't think his intention was to hurt Gary Harris, but he had no business doing what he did. It wasn't his fault tho, Harris landed poorly and that sux, I hope it's not something serious because Denver will need him.

I wish we could somehow steal Will Barton, he murdered us late and he is the main reason they won. Whenever they needed to score he scored, he is really good and we need more wing players badly. I wonder if we offer him the full MLE if Denver would match.

RJ/Barton/Bullock/Griffin/Drunnond could be something, if RJ doesn't get injured again lol.

SVGs defensive scheme is archaic. It worked in Orlando just because the 3pt shot wasn’t what it is today and D12 was an all time great defender. No Cheeks got more from Drummond defensively.

SVG is archaic himself.

The way Blake is used is slowing the game down too much. The guy is money in transition and has the skills to play in a high motion offense. SVG just isn't taking advantage of it.

Watching the layup line run against us sure makes me miss Wallacex2. Wish we could push a reset button and start over

That's because he's either going to take a high difficult iso shot, or run a bad pick and roll with someone, where they slip the pick and it doesn't create any space. No idea if that's by design or our players are just marshmallows?

Blake is a good offensive player would be more accurate, especially playing center- the position that's best suited for him in the modern NBA. Blake went from one bad fit to another in Detroit. I'm not in favor of trade Drummond, but that's probably the best play for the semi-long term for this team. Let Blake play C, bring in a modern PF (like Tobias Harris!) that can space and shoot. And, we'd see the offense really open up.

The guy who does the Pistons Locked On podcast said yesterday something like, "Blake plays some of the most joyless basketball I've ever seen." I have to agree there. He never looks like he's enjoying himself out there.

You're annoying. Tobias was playing like **** before the trade. I love him but he was bad and his defense was a disaster.

Tobias was playing like **** before the trade LMFAO

He was having a career year

18 pts, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal shooting 48% from the field and 41% from the 3pt in 48 games with the pistons

Damn, looks like Tobias must have have been pooping all over the court with those terrible numbers

They were 22-26 with Tobias...

Who is talking about records?

We are talking about TOBIAS and how he was playing this season before the trade.

His numbers, all career highs, are listed above, and he has improved those numbers on the Clippers

Then what's the point of bringing him up? They were **** with him and **** without him. And vege is right, he was **** before the trade...go look at his JAN #'s - 13 games .423/.313 18pts on 15 shots isnt all that impressive, especially when you have to factor in his absolutely laughable defense he plays whether his shot is falling or not. The team went 2-11 during that stretch and that basically was the beginning of the end for the 17/18 season.
