You should put MIA, MIL, IND, maybe even PHI as must win games, if we loose one more must win like this lal one, we are out of PO race I guess....Thanks Malone, I hope not to see you here next year..I'm not big of a fan as some were, but I think this is the team that needs someone like George Karl...

Awesome how many West teams competing for spots between 3 and 8 are playing each other down the stretch. We'll get high stakes games before the playoffs.

Utah vs Golden State in the first round would be an incredible match up.

The Clippers are a great example of a thread I made awhile back (and got a lot of kickback on), where being "tied in the loss column" can present some false hope and is generally not a good way to try to equalize two teams, especially if 1 of the teams is several wins behind, like the Clippers are.

Clippers - 37-29
Thunder - 41-29

All the Clippers have to do is win their next 4, they control their fate!

Their next 4:
@ Houston
@ Oklahoma City
Portland
@Minnesota

Oh, is that all? Good luck with that. My guess is they lose all 4. Also, doesn't every team control their own fate?

Yeah, that was my point. People use being tied in the loss column without acknowledging that winning NBA games is rarely easy. It's not as simple as having the same number of losses, therefore if the Clippers just win all of their games they're good.

Or wins. The Wolves lost 3 and went from 3rd to 6th. Won two in a row, still in 6th. The playoff seeding should be calming down in two weeks as a lot of the west teams face off against each other.

The Warriors are missing both Curry and now Klay for another week to two weeks. Teams playing them may get a break.

GS or Houston would just be a 4 game sweep by 15 points per game. Not interesting at all.

Portland or anyone else would be good, some more than others. I'd really love a Wolves/Jazz match-up for entertainment value.

Yeah, the Jazz/Wolves games have been chippy. There's some history there with Rubio. Not sure what the deal is. That would be a physical series. If Butler is out, or not close to 100%, I think the Jazz would probably win that series. I also think a Jazz/Blazers series would go at least 6 games and it's a toss-up as to who wins.

For everyone ranked 3-10 in the west, playoff has commenced. This last 4 weeks of regular season would be their play-out round.

Really interesting to see what happens from the 3-5 seeds in the East. Will Indiana remain the 3rd seed even with the toughest remaining schedule in the NBA? Will we see a Washington Cleveland match-up round 1?

Anyone really pick more than 1 or 2 two teams you'd pick over the jazz in a series right now? That team is looking scary good.

LAC and SAS looking real dangerous as their schedules are turning full brutal mode.

POR has a tough remaining schedule too but they are playing extremely well right now, plus that 3-4 game cushion, they should have enough momentum to power through this blood bath, and eyeing a HCA.

Geez, with the tournament theatrics in the 1st and 2nd round, and 15+ hugely meaningful NBA games this weekend. my chances of leaving the house this weekend are about as good as UMBC's chance of winning the tournament.

Utah struggles with OKC's defensive length. Plus OKC has superstars who can raise their level in the playoffs. But otherwise, the Jazz are right there with Portland, Minnesota, NOLA and the Spurs.

The Jazz have the defensive tools to gameplan and really dig in to their defensive matchups for 48 minutes. Their defense has been best in the league by a considerable margin as of late.
