X2: Directors Cut is the only remotely watchable X-Men movie; unless you consider Deadpool an X-Men movie. Deadpool was watchable because the humor was great, but it wasn't overly interesting.

I haven't even seen the film yet and I'm already annoyed we're not getting a trilogy out of the storyline.

nah bruh, they just need to be consistent. they shat the bed with justice league, but man of steel and wonder woman have been good to decent films. suicide squad was a hiccup that shouldn't have ever happened, and BvS should have been a batman movie. they need to learn how to trim the fat and stop throwing **** at the wall hoping it sticks.

also, they just announced that Ava Duvurnay is going to direct a 'New Gods' movie. I'm hyped. that's the film i wanted them to make, for the same reason I'm so hyped about Thanos' history in IW.

They're going to set Darkseid up right, before they going into JL2.

They need to stop meddling with directors and let them follow their vision (also release the Snyder cut for JL). BVS Extended is perfect and I'm sure Snyder's JL would have been fantastic as well (especially from everything I've read that's been leaked). I'm sure Aquaman is going to kill it, I have high hopes for Shazam, WW2 is going to be great, and The Flash will as well (curious what they're going to do with the Flashpoint story because it's clear they aren't adapting it completely). New Gods will be cool and I'm sure the other rumored projects will be good as well (so happy Whedon is out of Batgirl). Kind of sucks that Darkseid was featured in a film before Thanos considering Thanos was ripped off of his character. :wink:

Anyways, Avengers looks fantastic and I can't wait to see it. I think BP was either my favorite or second favorite movie of all time (in contention with BVS Extended), so I have high hopes for this one as the movie is coming in HOT. I'd like to see them not make the same movie what seems like every time, but if the money works I doubt they'll change it.

Hopefully Avengers kills it and DC levels up too because the competition is great for everyone. DC will forever be my favorite comic line, but Marvel is also damn good. I'd like to see them all succeed.
