It is a good showing of consistency that the Clippers are taking care of the bad teams. They are also showing up against the elite teams, who maybe were/are underestimating them, but the similar level teams have been tougher.

It would be unfair to basketball if Clippers miss playoffs. You know ..I of-course agree with those people who are proposing abolishing of the west/east playoffs , yes it is tradition I get it, but it is a way out of balance . Top 16 teams overall should play playoffs and it would be simple and fair. Today I decided to make this game even more interesting to me, so I placed little bet.

Don't get me wrong , I hope Clippers win, but I had to bet on Westbrook over in points as I cannot see anyone successfully guarding him. Expecting from Austin to continue where he stopped last night , I see Harris in good shooting shape and as far as Teodosic, don't expect anything from him, he ain't gonna play a lot because of Westbrook beast on the other side. It depends on his first two shoots really, 9 points is not big margin so with a little bit of luck I can win this. What I expect from you guys is support on these players , of-course except Wild West .

Westbrook is having cold night but it is not helping much to my bet. But to be honest I would rather see Clippers win , I don't care about Westbrook scoring. This si still winnable game because it would be blow out already if Russel is playing his normal.

Can't wait to hear how it's all Doc's genius "strategy" to not give Boban any minutes in a must-win game where DJ is completely disengaged. Doc is "coaching" us out of the playoff picture and everyone will still blindly defend him like he's Pop or Brad Stevens. :noway:

We need Ty Wallace tonight. At this point, the fact that he's still not signed proves that the front office is tanking. They don't want to make the playoffs.

Bench hasn't been able to be difference makers in this one, starters have actually been quite good.

Doc probably cost us the game by subbing out Boban for DJ. I'm legit scared that our front office will get all sentimental on us again and overpay DJ this offseason. He's so not worth it and he needs to be traded.

We've needed a lot more from Lou the last two games, that's for sure

DJ should have just gone up, actually Lou should have passed to Harris in the first place

Agreed on playing Boban more in this one with OKC being a team that goes big. Lou Williams is not bringing enough though. The team was +5 with Austin, +4 with Harris and +2 with Thornwell, it was the lineups that had Milos, Harrell, Dekker and Evans that put the team in a hole.

Well it wouldn't be normal for DJ to be benched whole 4 qtr

Boban was doing well, we were even with OKC while he was on the floor, but still in the end, it was the bench and Lou that didn't carry their weight, and of course, OKC had their bench guys come through, Fergurson did well, etc. The game is 48 minutes, and you can lose it in a few critical minutes if you aren't careful, and the bench just couldn't match, giving the starters more work to do.

Boban finished at zero, DJ at minus-1. Thing is, we needed stops and Boban wasn't gonna get them for us--you had to put DJ in.

The rest of the bench was around minus-10. That was the story tonight. No magic from Trezz [minus-11]. Oh yeah, and you're right about Lou. Minus-8, 6-for-16, 0-4 from distance. But this does not make him a bad person and doesn't make Doc stupid for leaving in one of the NBA's top 4thQ scorers.

And Austin had a studly game. Not just the 23 points, 7 rebs, 3 steals and 2 blocks, but when Westbrook did his trademark drive to the hoop at the end there from the left side, Austin was all over it. We got the stop but unfortunately DJ threw it away down the other end.

We stood toe-to-toe with the Okies, never quit when we fell behind by double digits. Nothing to be ashamed of. Can't say I enjoy any loss, but I'm proud of our boys. Looking at this roster, I don't know how we do it.
