Bad weekend. Maryland lacrosse blows 4 goal lead to Albany in fourth quarter and loses by 1 at home. Men's basketball doesn't even get an invite to NIT.

Well on the positive Brenda landed a stud.

But yeah, overall this weekend was bad.

Brenda lost the program last year. I hope with her future strong recruiting class that half don't transfer dissatisfied and/or disillusioned.

I'm happy for Kiara Leslie, who used to go to Maryland.

Don't worry about Brenda losing the program.

Without going into too much detail, some of the transfers were addition by subtraction.

I'm fine with the way this season played out because I had low expectations.

Next year should be better and the FOLLOWING year should be the year they challenge for a title.

Five star players who could have chosen dozens of other programs left disappointed. Lexie Brown and Kiara Leslie are still playing.

Staiti will be GREAT. She should have been playing last season.

Slocum already was GREAT.

Those are huge losses.

I will go into detail. The family member(s) of players who left told me that that family atmosphere stuff was canned recruiting speech from previous years. Untrue.

I predict that you and I will be posting in about three years (God willing); after Brenda has left the program.

Staiti should not have been playing. And thats coming from the inside.

She wasn't in the shape she needed to be in to play the style Maryland plays.

Kiara Leslie was basically recruited over.

It happens.

But as you said, let's revisit this in a few years.

Georgia native was part of head coach Brenda Frese’s No. 1-ranked recruiting class last season. She was the No. 15 overall player in the class of 2016 and the second-ranked center in her class.

Slocum was the number one point guard and Staiti was the number two center. In 5.6 minutes per game, 3 points, two rebounds is productive. It's 15 and 10 over 28 minutes, not to mention 2 or 3 blocks.

Brenda coached terribly last season. I think she did a good job this season. She's not my favorite coach because the parents of those players were not happy when their kids left the program.
