The ideal scenario is landing Mikal Bridges and Trae Young.

Using our pick, Pels pick, Lavine, Dunn, Portis, and/or Valentine to get it done.

Seriously more games like this he could go very highly, which may push Bamba or MPJ down to us.

D'you think at this point he's a "safer" pick then Bagley?
I mean, he'll at least be a long term starter, right? Whereas I could easily see Bagley not figuring anything out and being nothing more than an energy big off the bench.
I don't doubt Bagley has a higher ceiling, but there's just something off about his college dominance.
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

I sure hope so. I think Mikal has a legit chance of going top 7-8 now. His value should rise in this tournament.

Wings with his skill set are all the rage. I could see Orlando or Sacramento taking him in the top 5. Seems like those teams always shake up the draft.

Agreed. Not much of a shooter either.

If he was a better passer there’d at least be a better argument for him to be a high pick. No shot and no passing instincts makes him a hard pass though. At least he’s been fun to watch in the tourney.
Until now... man just bad passes and a lot of long two-point shots. Dumb, terrible basketball

Morris Peterson (Mo Pete) is what I see in Bridges. I like him, but I like other players better at our current pick.

Mikal Bridges fits the Bulls perfectly because he doesn’t need the ball to make an impact. He doesn’t have the superstar potential as some Porter J.R., Ayton, Doncic or Bagley who I would take over him but besides that I would have to think long and hard about taking a project over him.

I'm a Mikal Bridges fan but think I'd take Trae just because of the potential. You don't go blatantly trying to tank all season to come away with a safe 3 and D pick. GarPax probably disagree and will go with Mikal if he is on the board at 9 (unlikely).

I'd rather have Trae Young

I do kinda see the Kawhi Lenard comparisons to Mikal as well. Where he puts up numbers and it doesn't even feel they are running plays for him.

Young vs the bridges. This will be a HEATED discussion up until draft day if we pick where we are projected to pick.

Maybe at the offensive end but Mo Pete was no where near the defensive player Bridges is. Bridges will be average a couple of steals and block a game plus guard the other team best wing player.

Considering Mikal Bridges is half a year younger than Zach LaVine, how much will he develop in a NBA environment.

After all, general consensus seems to be that LaVine will not develop at all, maybe just catch up to where he was before tearing his ACL ;)

Not much difference defensively. I love Bridges length and lateral quickness, but he pales in comparison to young small forwards like Brandon Ingram in terms of elite length defensively for the 3, but most of all he isn't physically imposing for the 3. I think he'd be more effective at the 2 where his length can be a real advantage defensively.

Pistol Pete just came off the bench for Alabama should have brought him in earlier.
