What’s interesting is that most of the tanking teams remaining schedule play against each other often for the rest of the season. So these tanking teams will be picking up wins regardless.

For example;

Kings still have to play the Grizzlies, Mavericks, Suns, Pistons and Hawks.

Magic still have to play Suns, Nets, Bulls, Hawks, Knicks, Mavericks, Hornets.

Bulls still have to play the Grizzlies, Knicks, Magic, Nets twice.

Mavericks still have to play the Nets, Kings, Magic, Suns, Pistons, Hornets.

huge night for the pick. magic and kings won. like i said before, real opponents are magic, mavericks and the kings. they have still some talent and not tank as hard as the suns and the grizzlies. plus chicago doesnt go down past nets either in my opinion even if they match up twice in the last week. so it is not so far fetched that nets are finishing the season with the 4th or 5th worst record.

I'm not getting excited unless they go 1-3 in these next 4 games.

@ Philly, vs Dallas, vs Memphis, vs Charlotte

Win 2 and it hurts us but we're still somewhat breathing. Win 3 or 4 and we're doomed.

Hopefully Trey Young defies odds and can carry Oklahoma past RI and upset Duke. This will probably be enough for some dumbass gm to pick him too early letting a better player fall to us.
But URI will probably give him the exit

Chicago danger is gone. But Knicks danger has emerged unfortunately.

Chris Grant doesn't work here anymore Byron Scott and Mike Brown aren't trying to play gm and Altman's been around long enough to know where real value is. Young was a bit overrated because of the curry bombs he was hitting to start the season. Personally don't see a top 5 player but maybe in the right system he becomes better. Damn good floor general despite that not being the **** a bad gm focused only on how many 3s he hits. If Orlando who needs a PG justified taking him over Jackson or Bamba and we picked next it forces Altman to make the right decision imo

Give me Jairus Lyles UMBC in the 2nd round. If he lasts that long. We'd have to trade for or buy a pick

An9ther big night for the pick, the 76ers overcame the 2nd night of a back to back to narrowly beat the well rested Nets. Also a nice bonus the Kings won against an injury riddled Warriors team.

^ yep so much for the pessimistic who think those teams are tanking by resting mentally checked out vets and playing youth.
Nets pick gets more valuable by the day.
Dallas took raps to ot despite losing.
The commissioner was clear in his tanking warning and we are the beneficiary

Stop it Mikal just stop it! I wouldn't be shocked if we pick him as high as 5 after his play in the tournament.

Nope. I give up. You can't challenge with disgustingly tanking teams. Dallas are with inly 8 players totally on the floor today against the nets with fake injuries and resting 22 year old guys. It's gonna be 8th or 9th pick without lottery luck.

^ these teams are not tanking like they did early.
Playing youth who have something to fight for is not tanking. Playing vets who have nothing to fight for is tanking at this point in the season.
It's not rocket science.
The pick will be top 6 unless the Nets have luck on their side which to this point they have not

A loss today would have been huge. Other results looking good so far. Real shame

^ we need every win right now with 6 players out. **** the pick if it comes down to us having to lose to make other teams with currently better records than the Nets closer to making the Nets pick a worse placement.

Memphis won ,not that it matters at this point.
I've resided to the fact we should trade down for both Clippers picks if the only tier 1 prospect left is Bamba at 6 or 7. Esp if Detroit pick owned by LAC is 10th where one of SGA or Mikal should be on the board still,if not it means Sexton fell or Young etc. Then got option at 14 or 15 with LAC own to get another impact player : Zhaire Smith,Rui Hachimura,Mo Wagner, Gafford etc

I meant a loss for Brooklyn. They played Dallas who tanked the fourth unfortunately. Would have been fantastic

Gotcha , but they didn't tank they just lost imo.Dallas coming off a road loss in overtime to the best team in the East obviously had them gassed down the stretch.
Nets got lucky

Nets could win three in a row here. This is really going to hurt the pick. I think at this point it'a pretty clear it'll be 8-9.
