Yep.
He's so competitive and gifted athletically hence he can do it... just like Westbrook. Drive, ability to learn, confidence... 3 things that KEY to being dominant in your field... sports included.
But ultimately, I see (hopefully) a Paul George/Tracy McGrady type.... would be PERFECT next to Booker.
Prime Grant Hill is my dream
I think Ben Simmons is closer to Grant Hill... a less athletic but BIGGER Grant Hill

Glad you admitted. Because the Suns are winning and Jackson is dominating. Maybe he should play as if he can be stopped....
sure, he's making everything this game and that's great. means he's got talent.
but then next game, he does the same things and he can't buy a bucket, then what?
more important to reinforce the right process than only go by results

Next is next game. You play it as it comes. That’s like being able to throw the ball against a defense in football and then you say well next game we might not be able to do that so we should run the ball.....silly.

I had a feeling we'd play better with Booker out (since his shooting would have been impacted), and that Daniels might get hot. Nice to see JJ step up.

Maybe I have to clarify every post with: I LIKE JOSH JACKSON. HE IS A TALENTED ALL AROUND PLAYER WHO DOES A LOT OF GOOD THINGS ON THE BASKETBALL COURT
now... is it wrong to say the Jackson can sometimes be out of control, and that reining it in a bit can be beneficial for him and the team?
it seems like I'm hating but I would say the same for guys like Booker and Warren. Possessions stick with them and end with them, sometimes to the detriment of the team's ability to function as a cohesive unit

Brooklyn beat Dallas, which was probably good since I think Dallas has an easier schedule going forward. For those who don't know, Memphis somehow won...and the Kings are somehow hanging with Utah...1 pt game with about 3 minutes left.

I'm not against him handling the ball the most in this game. Not at all, he's shown he deserves it. Why go away from it? Never said the Suns should. I feel like you thought because I pointed out some bad possessions from Jackson that I meant the team needed to stop going to him. NO NO NO
It's more about how he gets into his possessions that weren't great. Just because isolating is working doesn't mean it's the best choice every time.

sure maybe it came across too strongly, maybe I just caught a string of bad possessions, not trying to put down Josh.
I don't understand why, just because a guy is having a great game, means it is bad form to point out some approach issues that can be easily fixable?
Like, hey Josh, you're playing damn good tonight. Keep up that aggressiveness. But there were a couple times down where maybe you didn't need to try what you did when you did.
Where's the issue in that?

Well I appreciate the analysis. I can't say any of it is wrong. I think Jackson is learning and improving on the fly. He has sat and watched game film with the coach 1 on 1 and really is trying to adapt to the NBA game. He definitely is more in control than he used to be though.

he's improved tons since the beginning of the season. way more under control and steps in the right direction. just sometimes the old stuff crops up
I probably just caught a string of bad possessions in the midst of a lot of good ones
