When was the last time a Hawk got player of the week?
I’m guessing 2014-15 Jeff Teague or Paul Millsap. Or was it more recent?

Re: Taurean Prince
Prince has always been projected as a consistent 3-and-D wing in today’s NBA, but this recent outburst has opened up a new door for Prince that few thought he could reach. His scoring load of around 21 points per game (over the past 7 contests) is close to that of a No. 1 scorer on some of the better teams in the NBA.
If Prince can continue this mean streak and bring some bite to this Hawks team as well as continue his impressive scoring run, we look to be one piece less away from some pretty exciting things.

I understand that we are rebuilding and reshaping. But when you get a guy like Prince, and develop him the way we have, we might want to hang on to him.
My try not to trade list:
Prince
Collins
That’s it...short list!

I don’t know...I’m really worried about trading Prince. He just seems like he’s cut out of that old school cloth...you know that heavy duty blanket you have when you were a kid that would never get ruined no matter what...(NO NOT A BLANKIE...)..he just might terrorize us for the next 10 years.

I know you guys will accuse me of over-reacting but why is Travis telling the players what to do? I'm happy with his talent evaluation but seems like every thing he says is "I'm doing this" and then it's "and the coaches too".

I had the

Literally seconds within reading that line: "Why is the GM involved in that conversation?"

The RingerSilver Linings Playbook for Eliminated Teams
Nine NBA squads are already out of the playoff picture, but there’s a little something each of their fan bases can latch onto as they await the draft lottery
Hawks: Taurean Prince
I feel for you if you haven’t been watching Prince ball out for the Hawks. The second-year forward grinds on defense, hustles in transition, and scores from all over the floor. As of late, his effort is translating into high-volume, high-efficiency scoring. Over the past five games, Prince averaged 26.8 points, seven rebounds, and 3.8 assists, while dropping 38 points twice.
It’s not like Prince is just getting garbage time points, either: Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer uses him in all sorts of actions—from isolations to pick-and-rolls to handoffs to screens. It’s a sign of the positionless times when Coach Bud can have his thick, 6-foot-8 forward sprint through screens then splash 3s.
Prince flashed his upside as an upperclassman at Baylor, but his shot selection was often frustrating to watch when he’d turn on “hero mode” and fail to actually make shots. But his jumper has improved, and he’s tightened his ball handling to become a more reliable scorer.
The Hawks are a long way from being good, but they have a few diamonds and pearls: their own draft picks, and Prince.

Having Mikal Bridges, Taurean, and collins as our future 2,3,4 is kind of intriguing.

Hmmm...I like each of them individually. But none of those guys can create much offense on their own.

You drop in the draft, still get a great player and develop a stud. Every since he beat us, I’ve been a fan.

If you have a plan for getting us both Trae Young and Mikal Bridges (whilst keeping both Taurean and Collins), I'm willing to vote you permanent emperor of Atlanta.
