People like to say the ankle injuries to him are freak injuries but i dont believe that. Hes got a bad knee which leads to having joint/muscular imbalances in the lower body. Hes had this condition for a long time hes now getting older. He very well could be really fragile at this point its just not worth risking.

We really should of got another good pg on the roster this season. Very real chance these injuries keep popping up and we didnt draft Mitchell and now we cant draft Sexton. Dont be surprised to see Ish in the starting lineup for a good % of next season as well.

I hear where you're coming from. He does have jumpers knee, that's not a debate. And, it's not far fetched to believe he'll continue to have lower body injuries as he tries to compensate for that knee.

But, I think this is going to be a continual problem with him. Whether we play him again this season or not, I won't be at all surprised if he goes down with another lower body injury next season that keeps him out for a prolonged duration.

Nobody should anticipate RJ being a big piece of this team's short and long term future. We've basically gotten 1.5 good seasons out of him in 3.5 years.
