You bring all of this on yourself, and you act like you're being bullied when people tell you exactly what you are. Own it.

Sorry but not true. You have been blatantly getting away with baseless attacks on my character because of your extreme racial biases. *yes continue to play on that one new angle that you have of me being a child abuser.

1) no one called you a child abuser. no one. if you search this thread no one called you that. YOU said you would slap your son silly. not me. not rich, not mdb, you said it. you can say it was a "figure of speech" but its one ive never heard of. maybe you can point me to some example where someone else said "i would slap him silly" but really meant "have a calm conversation with him to make him see the error of his ways". those are 2 pretty opposite tones my man.

2) "extreme racial biases" not believe slavery was a good thing and thinking blacks should have equal rights is not an extreme position?

But it is difficult to really put much value in those responses when your initial remarks are so definitive and violent "if my son told me he was a girl id slap him silly" and then "oh no i didnt mean it thats just a thing i say"

I forget that you guys take everything so literally and will harp on any less than politically correct term, expression or figure of speech.

Forgive me as ive never heard that figure or speak. typically when someone is so strongly against something, and says they will act with violence then tend to be serious.

you could have made it alot more obvious. i you dont want to be taken literally, then be less ambiguous.

and it has nothing to do with being "politically correct". if you dont intend to slap the **** out of your son then dont say you would slap the **** out of your son.

what should we assume is and is not something you mean literally?

The term is used all over the place, google it.

http://dictionary.reverso.net/english-definition/slap+him+silly

1. a sharp blow or smack, as with the open hand, something flat, etc.
2 the sound made by or as if by such a blow
3. a sharp rebuke; reprimand

That was my intended usage of the term but of course I should have known better here knowing that you guys disect my every word and try to turn it into something it's not. And they wonder why I post videos of people that could articulate themselves much better than I can.

Look at MDB, the idiot is still at it with by genetically defective comment which I apologized for. Now he's calling me a child abuser for this slap him silly comment. What a joke. I don't even have to state the obvious but he's making himself out to be the joke here.

he never called you a child abuser, it is hard to give you the benfit of the doubt on "what you really meant" when you say some pretty abrasive things and then apologize for them and then put words in other peoples mouths.

you at best made some very derogatory, inflammatory, and borderline bigoted comments... at worst made some racist and homophobic posts. it is hard to give you slack with your short track record.

why would we assume you mean the third, and least common used meaning of "slapping someone silly" when you have posted so abbrisvely - especially with refence to transgendered folks?

C'mon man, he's called me everything under the sun, he and Shake were the first to accuse me of being racist simply because I supported Trump and have a conservative point of view. He doesn't understand that assertion would make half of America racists as well, including many people of colour.

When I type out messages, I do it fast without much proof reading or second thought. This is for a message board, not a thesis. I didn't realize that every word be scrutinized to eternity. My beliefs are backed up by facts, they may not be perfect but at least I try to rationalize them.

It's cool that you're defending your forum bros, I understand. We don't agree on matters either but I appreciate the fact that we could get into a discussion without blatant name-calling and bashing.

Peace out, I'm outta here for good this time. Cheers.

p.s. don't worry about the 10 And 1s after I win our bet lol.

To be fair, you didnt really do much to dispell the racist thing, some of the things you posted/linked too were pretty cringeworthy. I mean they certainly generalized you (somethign you are very guilty of yourself) but i mean... you did post a link to a guy saying he can articulate things better then you, and the dude is a total racist who is spinning slavery as a good thing.

you cant blame other people if you type before you think and they assume that what you wrote is literally what you meant. i mean thats the way communication works. unless you state otherwise, people assume when you say something thats what you mean. dont blame us because you said you would whoop your kid if he told you he was trans. we cant just assume that you meant something else.

This guy lies as he breathes. He spews lie after lie, and then avoids the confrontation when each lie is called out. He even lied on Rich who had the decency to tell another poster to back off of insulting his mother. Who seriously does that? This tells you just how **** ed up this dude is. I don't even find it funny at this point, I think the guy is disturbed.

It's also disturbing to know that this kind of person is in charge of the welfare of a minor. I seriously hope this dude's kid isn't gay or even remotely grappling with issues surrounding his gender, because I'd fear for his physical and mental well being. Hell, all of this "alpha" nonsense will probably do a lot of damage to that child as well because its toxic and can lead to either damaging issues within the kid itself or the kid doing god awful things to other people including women.

I'm glad you will be gone for good (and please do...you're not a Nets fan. go spew your racism on the Raptors board FFS). If you ever get the urge to **** post on here again, remember this: no one watches your videos of Jordan Peterson throwing a temper tantrum because the people that he looks down upon, like the bigot that he is, demand actual respect.

And freedom of choice goes both ways of course. I don't condone any type of abuse or violence but you can't force me how to behave either. I have the freedom to try to show these cuckoos where they went wrong.

No. What you are saying is akin to christians saying they are going to show non christians "where they went wrong" in a country built on religious freedom. Or the smoker who believes his right to smoke out weighs others rights not to breathe in his smoke. You chose not to be trans. That where it ends.

Not if I feel that their plight has an adverse effect on the community and upon themselves. Just because people have the freedom to stupid things doesn't mean that others don't have the freedom to criticize it or try to warn potential prospects from succumbing to the same fate.

I honestly feel really bad for the trans community and I can't wrap my head around why anyone would think that this is a good idea. Adults being cuckoo I tell you and extremely irresponsible with their actions. The saddest part is that many of these transgender have converted as kids before they even know what's really up. That's F'd up I tell ya. They end up blaming the innocent and ignorant members of society for it all, rather than blame the people that supported and even encouraged this very strange and dangerous agenda. They end up being so confused and unhappy that that they'd rather not live, that is the biggest tragedy of it all.

I'm out for real this time, I just wanted to respond since you have the courtesy to discuss matters as an adult without flinging personal insults. I have MDB on ignore so all is well. Cheers everyone.

I really hope that the next congress, which should be a majority Dem congress, passes legislation that heavily regulates social media platforms and BANS all political ads from any entity that falls under the umbrella of social media.

I also think that the CEOs of facebook and twitter need to have a chat with Robert Mueller and his team for a few hours. I think that Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey and their subordinates were willing conspirators in the lead up to the 2016 election.

Both sides has been terrible. One side stands behind Trump and the other side is hypocrite.
We need to be tackling the core of the problem and not just put surface bandages on our booboos because our feelings are hurt.

It is like we are all trying to fight for the title of biggest loser. So much time are spent on trying to win than we are identifying, dissecting and looking at the problem from multiple view points.

This thread has been reflective of that lately.

When does this happen. only blame i see is for hate crimes, abuse, and violence. which they SHOULD blame people for. no one has the right to physically harm someone because of a personal appearance or lifestyle choice

I'm know its evil what Cambridge Analytica did.... but for me im glad it happened. because there is a bigger, underlying issue that has nothing to do with them. all they did was exploit the system. the flaws where there.

Over the past 15 or so years and maybe the last couple generations being factually correct has gone from being a priority to an afterthough. who the source is doesnt matter. something being correct no longer matters. what matters, especially on the internet and social media is:

-being first
-being loud
-being controversial

People see a meme and they dont think twice to share it, get outraged by it, etc... I can post a meme today on a friends wall that says "Liz warren vote to disarm everyone in new england" and people would share it and bash the left and call it tyranical etc etc etc even if i had my source as "thisisfake.com".

Because people have been trained to be outraged. trained to be offended. trained to jump on a cause. Technology is great in many ways but as information has gotte faster and free-er and more mobile humans have gone from listening first, thinking second, responding third to reacting first after not even fully reading/listening. I myself, who have made a conscious effort to stop, listen, think because of studies weve done on this... still find myself responding to posts on instinct and reaction and have to reset and fact check and check if its real and think about the issue before rattling something off.

bigger problem is well though out solutions and responses are drowned out by outrage and people screaming from the rafters. a long thought out post goes wayside for "shut up you are just a right wing nutjob"

and it gets worse every year. kids now are raised by people who grew up in this age of technology. they will be born with a smart phone in hand now. with parents who themselves have been trained to "dont think, just react"

Research has become non exsistant. people now think they are an expert on any subject by googling it or by reading a meme that gives them a few stats.

Sooooooooooooooooo many of these Cambridge Analytica things are just - find who you want to trigger, post a meme that nudges them in the right direction, and get your popcorn ready.

if you want a social experiment... take a picture of a political figure. add text to each one. make one of them pro 2nd ammednment and make the other pro gun control. share the pro gun on a right wing friends page and the other on a left wings friend page. make the memes riddiculously over the top... like...

"last year 2 million teens died in school shootings, more then in every war since the birth of chris"

and

"Dems are pushing to pass a law to to require everyone to re-register for guns, citizens will be disarmed, including former war vets and retired police officers"

gauranteee they spread like wildfire and less then 10% will even question if its real. because people WANT to take the torch and run. they WANT you to give them fuel to bash the other side of the argument.

I never understood the appeal of "bothsiderism", other than that those usually who engage it in are usually in a position of privilege as to where what is being debated does not impact them directly in some manner, so they see no need for the "other side" to call the other out for their racist, bigoted, or sexist behavior and what they support.

Agreed. the fact that the truth is being kicked to the wayside is a huge part of the problem, and it should be noted that extreme right wing leaning personalities weren't the only ones targeted. They were hitting far left leaning people too and spreading disinformation re: Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.

Agreed. the fact that the truth is being kicked to the wayside is a huge part of the problem, and it should be noted that extreme right wing leaning personalities weren't the only ones targeted. They were hitting far left leaning people too and spreading disinformation re: Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.

Sanders got did REAL dirty. whether you like his politics or not he got a knife in his back from his own party and then all his points smeared into socialist extremism from the right. Meanwhile he is out there actually wanting to help people. I'm not sure he would have made a good president and I think he actually may do better as a voice to lead activists but man.... he got a real screw job both sides

Over the past 15 or so years and maybe the last couple generations being factually correct has gone from being a priority to an afterthough. who the source is doesnt matter. something being correct no longer matters. what matters, especially on the internet and social media is:

-being first
-being loud
-being controversial

Sanders did get screwed, I voted for him and was pissed. I also have questions about him, however.
