WeJo starts, in for Sindarius to guard 6'8" Middleton, who's avging 20

no choice really
gotta get some length on the wing
Sindarius just isn't a SF

I tend to forget Wes is even on the roster

Austin's halftime stats: 5 points on 2-7 shooting, 0 assists. I thought he was supposed to be a point guard? Still played 19 minutes - effectively tied for the most on the team.

Every time Austin's in and Doc tries to showcase him, our offense slows to a crawl.

in other news, Clippers immediately enjoy 33-point 3rdQ, open 14-point lead behind Austin's 14 points in the quarter

It's a whole lot easier when Giannis isn't playing.

Austin hit that trey ball on Middleton and MTV metaphorically.

Did you really repeat your tweet after Austin did the job in the 3rd and then the dagger-3 with a minute left in the 4th? You know, it's not that you don't have any facts and just made Shaqtin' a Fool for all to see.

It's that you're more invested in being right about your nonstop d-bagging on Doc and Austin than being able to root for your own team and enjoy the win. That's perverse, man.

At least Quake Griffin cheers for his own team and cares more about the game than douching Austin.

It's nice to finally get a win. Still not out of the race, although we really needed a loss from either the Spurs or Pelicans. But what worries me more is the Bucks playing so poorly lately, and now losing Giannis, which might encourage Detroit to make one last playoff push, hurting their/our pick in the process.

DJ Showcase

Post#14 » by Ranma » Thu Mar 22, 2018 8:19 am

I missed the game but saw the highlights and it looked like DeAndre Jordan was manhandling the Bucks. If I recall correctly, the Bucks were one of the teams rumored to be interested in trading for him leading up to the deadline. Well, if DJ opts into his contract for next season, the Clippers can point to tonight when re-igniting trade talks in order to sell how adding another freak athlete to go along with Bledsoe and Antetokounmpo would be a big benefit for them in Milwaukee.

True, but no one is feeling bad for us and we aren't making excuses for not having Gallo and Bradley, or even Wallace, so I don't see a reason to do so here. It's not like we were playing Phoenix or something.

Clippers always win when I skip watching their game, maybe I should stop following them. Good win , I knew it is now or never so I placed the bet , it had a good value stake * 2.30 , added Denver and Cavs and collected nice pin money.

Also, I don't understand how some people can't see that Austin is a real deal NBA player, he improved his ball handling so much and when he starts hitting from outside there is a little that defenders can do to stop him. Indeed he has to work on his decision making and assists.

We had a good offensive game and were pretty much in control once Giannis left the game. I'm happy that we stopped our 4 game losing streak. We'll have to keep fighting and get lucky if we want to make our 7th straight playoff appearance.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!
