Mr. Nader’s cultivation of Mr. Broidy, laid out in documents provided to The New York Times, provides a case study in the way two Persian Gulf monarchies have sought to gain influence inside the Trump White House. Mr. Nader has been granted immunity in a deal for his cooperation with the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, according to people familiar with the matter, and his relationship with Mr. Broidy may also offer clues to the direction of that inquiry.
Mr. Nader has now been called back from abroad to provide additional testimony, one person familiar with the matter said this week. Mr. Mueller’s investigators have already asked witnesses about Mr. Nader’s contacts with top Trump administration officials and about his possible role in funneling Emirati money to Mr. Trump’s political efforts, a sign that the investigation has broadened to examine the role of foreign money in the Trump administration.
When Republicans are in power, they spend. When they are out of power, they harp about deficits and debt. It’s a strategy they have shamelessly executed with success over the course of several presidencies. During George W. Bush’s administration, for example, Republicans ran up the national credit card with two unpaid wars, two tax cuts, and a huge expansion of Medicare. And, it’s a tactic they’ll likely use in the future if Democrats succeed in clawing their way back into power ― by claiming the need to cut spending on entitlements and welfare programs.Boehner’s successor as speaker, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), became the poster boy for fiscal conservatism at the time. As chairman of the powerful House Budget Committee, Ryan crusaded around Washington with charts and PowerPoint presentations, saying the nation was at a “tipping point” because of its debt.

but what about when a guy uses bombs instead of guns? I'll bet some nut job can make at least 6 bombs and spread them around and kill people. if he gets those bombs in the right places might even be able to kill a lot of people.
speaking of. yeah they caught the guy in texas who made 6 such bombs and killed 3 people. turn to CNN. theres a picture of stormy taking a lie detector test. Ive seen that picture on CNN for the last 2 days at least 20 times.
I’m not a liberal but the point isnt that someone stopped the shooter...the problem is kids got shot. its idiotic that people are highlighting that it could have been worse... You focusing on the wrong issue.

i never liked Sessions. Never thought much of mcmasters. I think Bolton is the perfect choice right now. Bolton is full of common sense to see the trump foreign policy campaign pledges through.

i think the larger point is that mentally ill people that want to somewhat randomly kill or harm innocent people will find a way to do so. Guns, bombs, poison, driving autos into groups of people, etc.
5 days ago a kid entered a school with a gun to kill and no one dies except that the shooter who was stopped with by an armed guard with a gun. During the same week another 23 year old down in texas killed 2 and injured about 7 more with bombs while terrorizing the entire town.

A BuzzFeed report revealed that Conduit had been active in a Bible study group called Righteous Invasion of Truth (RIOT) that focused on outdoor survival skills, including how to shoot guns and use knives.
