wish we could beat a raptors-like team up like we're beating bulls up.

Nice to see my boy Vonleh starting to shoe signs of life, I’ve always liked the guy and thought we could have used him here. Then again, we don’t develop players here so maybe jot

Andre looks way better taking those short-ish mid-range jumpers than with his back to the basket.

Yikes. This one didn't even get onto the second page.
I'm ashamed to say I didn't even realize the Pistons were playing today. Tough to get interested.
We sure do love playing tanking teams, don't we?

Should we have our 1st round pick or an actual chance at making the playoffs I think this game would’ve gathered much more interest. As it stands though why should we both? Win or lose, our season doesn’t change.

Actually it is in our best interest to lose as many games as possible to increase our chances at a top 3 pick
But just like in the past 10 years, we keep winning pointless games, it's become a tradition

We’re still better off losing. It just matters a lot less.

I'm just interested in how Reggie plays at this point. We're locked into Reggie, Blake and dre for a while :\

Tanking teams are the only teams that we have beat since we Blake started playing with us. That isn't to heap the blame on Blake. I blame whomever in the front office approved this abomination of a trade that destroyed the team's season, the immediate summer and the forthcoming off-seasons with zero flexibility to get a fresh start from this bag of garbage they call a team.

Clinging on to that 2% chance that the basketball gods will stop hating Detroit for one brief moment, the first in the last decade.
That's pretty much what we're left with. I remember my wife asking me why I wasn't excited about the new season back in October of 2017. I told here that there just isn't anything to look forward to, the team isn't going to be good. And, they over-delivered yet again, and I'm pretty sure I'll continue to carry that sentiment into next season.
Even truly awful teams can see a glimmer of hope. Phoenix can at least feel good about Booker, Jackson and having a top 5 pick. That's more than watching Reggie dribble around in circles, Andre bombing bad hook shots (which he's reduced to now that Blake took the ball out of his hands), and Blake shooting uncontested 3-pointers because nobody respects his shot next year.

Oh yeah. I'd trade places with any of the bottom feeding teams at the moment.
The only one that comes even remotely close is the Grizzlies. They've got a lot of money sunk into older players. But at least they have a nice draft pick to look forward to. We'll likely never be bad enough to have such a pick.
If you had convinced me in 2009 that we'd be languishing in the 7-11 range for the next two years and we'd only draft one quality starter during that entire span I might have just given up as a fan right then and there. We truly are and have been living every NBA fan's nightmare.

Its crazy to think how a team like the suns which has made plenty of mistakes along the way has a brighter future then us. The suns traded the lakers pick to get Brandon Knight and missed on a bunch of early draft picks yet still their sitting on Jackson and Booker +a early draft pick this year which gives them a brighter future then us.
