So Beal having to average 6.3 assists to make up for the loss of Wall's assists is not necessarily a good thing for the team's overall success.
Another invention.... Once again, assists have gone up not down, so there's nothing to "make up for," & anyway that's not how it works.
Nor has Beal had to "carry more of the scoring load" -- another made-up narrative. Have Beal's FG attempts gone up this year over last? Not really. He's taking .45 more shots per 36 minutes. Has his shooting % gone down since John Wall went out? No. This entire season, his 2 pt. shooting, 3 pt. shooting & FT% have all been a little down from last year. Other things have been the same or a little up.
He's not having as good a season this year as last -- but he's having a way better season than any before last year!
