we may have found our own version of oladipo. we finally got that late bloomer who could blow up here in new york. we lit!

Imma say this

If Burke can finish the season strong, and keep it up through the start of next year, he can stay as the starter. Even though I hate on him, the guy at least tries on defense (which is all I ask), and it's a nice story for the guy to find his role after almost being out of the league

I just think like, we've seen stuff like this before. We're a bad team, some guy comes along and starts putting up stats, and we think "this guy is the future" but when it comes time for us to be good, he goes back to being bad. Like, how Galloway was gonna be part of our core, or Willy was gonna be the next Marc Gasol (dudes shooting 38% in 14 games in Charlotte), both guys I was really high on

I'm just more mad that the one time I take a hardline stance against a player, he actually plays pretty good

i can see where you're coming from for sure. difference is though, burke was a lottery pick. he always had a high ceiling. i think he may have finally reached it. i never believed gallo was anything more than a role player, or willy being marc gasol.

let's just hope he can keep this up. cause man, we might've finally hit the jackpot.

**** guys, I’m being sarcastic. How you gonna pass on Sexton cause of Burke

bro i love sexton and i have been pushing hard for us to draft him. but burke has been putting up numbers every time he's given a opportunity with big minutes. he's legit. it took a while for him to get it together but he did it. this is why he was a lottery pick. im riding with burke

I just don’t see it on a contender. Maybe as a sixth man.

meh. i mean we seen burke light up good defensive teams (golden state, boston). i think he's legit.

I'd be fine keeping Burke and then drafting another PG to hedge. We need a PG and if we throw enough crap against the wall something is bound to stick

5 Burkes > 1 Burke cuz of the optimal spacing imo gotta maximize your Burkes giving them as much space as you can

These aren’t real games. They’re nice to get reps to develop dudes but not for someone to say this guy is a bonafide piece for a contender

"I'd be the first one to say that my wrong reaction was the wrong one. I shouldn't have come back. Just because somebody is yelling at me, I shouldn't yell back. Two wrongs don't make a right," O'Quinn said in Washington D.C., according to published reports.
