LouWill, Tobias, Montrezl and Boban carried us to this win. It's tough to beat any decent opponent with Austin getting 34 minutes and Wes getting 20 minutes. It's even tougher when you fall behind by 18 in the first quarter. But those four found a way to get it done in spite of all the adversity. Great win!

let's esplain you some game of basketball
[and this isn't really for you, let's face it]

all the starters were minus-18 after the first 6 minutes, mostly because Valanciunas seriously abused DJ
but then we crawled back into the game, quarter by quarter

[BTW I didn't prop Milos but he played hard all the way after getting torched by Doc in the Pacers loss]

and yes, we prob don't win without Lou's insane 18 pts in the 4thQ
or Trezz getting us back in it after falling behind early
or even Bobi's domination of the scrubtime beginning of the 4th
and Austin had a great 3rdQ with 8 points after a crap start to help get us from 7 down to an 80-80 tie game

but in the NBA, it's defense that matters
to beat Toronto, you have to shut down Lowry and DeRozan

and we did :D

Austin, WeJo and Sindarius [in the 2nd half, an ace coaching substitution by Doc--WeJo only ended up playing 20 minutes, Sindarius 23] shut down Lowry and DeRozan [22 points combined on 7-21 shooting]

if DeRozan and Lowry score their average [40 combined], that's +18 points and we lose
QED

that was the strategic story of the game
you have to look deeper into the box score

yo bro, game threads are for analysis not vendettas
this was a beautiful win, one of the best of the season
on the road, against one of the top teams in basketball

everybody contributed
the flight back home to LA tonight is sweet

Just when I start to accept the fact that we're out of the playoffs, and look forward to the slightly better pick, the team gets a win like this on the road against a top opponent, while still missing Bev, Gallo, Bradley, Ty, CJ. Then just like that, my mind is flooded with fantasy scenarios such as "what if we win all our remaining games" and "what if our first round opponent plays without a few key pieces".

The odds are against the clippers making the playoffs of course but to say they would have no chance against the rockets isn’t true. They have played them tough this season and if Gallinari comes back they are a dangerous offensive team. I really liked the combination of Gallinari and Harris

Watched all game as it was in Euro-friendly time and I agree that it was amazing display of aggressive defense after 1st quarter. I would like to see Clippers in PO's too but the schedule is tough.

I agree with you. They would be a long shot but they would have a chance even if it was a small chance. If the games were played on paper no upsets would ever happen. I say lets get in and see how it goes. I'd really enjoy seeing the Clippers in the playoffs win or lose.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

I think the Clippers would 100% match up well, and strategically, whatever you think of Doc, I would trust him to make more key adjustments that could swing a series than I would D'Antoni, and that's not a slight to MDA, but Doc has pulled out some stuff before.
