He has been awesome for the Knicks. Hopefully Alec can go onto similar success once he gets out from under Snyder.
I hope you're not implying Trey Burke's absolute suckitude in Utah was anything but his own failure. Dude got WAY more than his share of chances in Utah. Utah's only mistake was not trading him at least a year sooner before his value dropped through the floor.
As for him being awesome for the Knicks, how many games have they won with Trey playing starter minutes? Let's see how good he is when he has to actually try and win games.

I kinda feel like if Burke didn't bust out of the league for a little while he wouldn't have gotten himself together like he has.
Yeah, I think people are jumping the gun on the gotten himself together talk. Remember, this is exactly what people were saying about Kanter, not long before Hornacek started sitting him in 4th quarters because he was such a defensive liability.
Again, playing well on a team that is losing all time isn't quite the same thing as playing well for a winner. If Trey Burke is playing starter minutes for NY next year and they are winning games, then I'd say it's fair to claim he's turned things around. Until then, I think he and Kanter both are mostly the same guys they were when Utah traded them.
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.
