OT: First time in Orlando
I'm currently visiting Orlando for the first time as an adult (I'm from Michigan). Planning on heading to the game tomorrow night and I was wondering if there are any good shops in/near Orlando to pick up some cheaper Magic gear. I walked around downtown today and even stopped at a couple Walmarts outside the city but couldn't find any gear. Anyone have some good suggestions?

Well, it won't necessarily b cheap but you might consider just waiting until you're at the arena, there's a big team store just after you enter.
Sometimes they run some decent sales. Generally though, even living here, I just order shirts and hats online.

If you’re looking for different options for Magic gear then Lids Locker Room at Altamonte Mall tends to have some different stuff to what’s in the team shop at the arena.
You could also try Champs Sports in either Florida or Fashion Square Mall as towards the end of the season they sometimes have a sale on though admittedly there’s a limited choice of Magic stuff.
Also in Florida Mall there’s Ultimate Sports Fan which might, again, have a couple of different items to the team shop at the arena.
Lastly, if you don’t mind trawling through racks of old stuff, you could try the Adidas outlets at Premium Outlets (either end of I-Drive) where there may be old NBA stuff now Adidas has given up making NBA uniforms etc.
But in my experience Rick is certainly right in saying that the best selection / prices is at the team shop and also the concessions inside the arena. There’s one particular concession that is basically two large sale rails so you generally find some cheaper items there (often ex-player jerseys and tees).
Hope that helps!

The Magic have been so bad so long that there aren't many people rocking Magic gear and I cant say I blame them. If the team was good you could find stuff everywhere and cheaper stuff.

Thanks for the suggestions! I guess I'll just check out what the Amway Center has to offer. I was a bit disappointed when I walked into a few Walmarts and didn't find any gear. In Michigan all stores are decked with Lions, Red Wings, Tigers, and Pistons gear. In one of the stores down here a guy walked me to the Disney section and I had to explain to him that he has a professional NBA team called the Magic in his city.

Dick's sporting goods carries Magic gear. There is one on E. Colonial next to the Fashion Square Mall(which also has stores that carry Magic gear). Its not very far from Downtown.
Personally I would just buy something at the arena. The Magic store always has deals and like was said before there is the clearance rack at one of the shops inside.

How long are you staying here? Try to go bodysurf at New Smyrna beach before you leave, You'll probably need to get a wetsuit to go in the water though.
