Giannis on his upcoming Free Agency

Post#1 » by bulliedog8 » Wed Mar 28, 2018 10:35 pm

He wont be a free agent for a while, 3 more years I think, and this news seems pretty standard and obious, but regardless.

Taken from reddit

If the time comes... because the NBA is business... Even my team, the Bucks, they might say to me: "Giannis we have not won the title after five years. You are our leader, so why we don't win?" And they will bring another guy. They might do this move.

We have to win a championship with my team. For sure the right moves should be made in order for this to happen. Nobody won a championship by himself. You have to get the right players. The front office and the general manager have to do their work too. Everyone has to work. Everyone has to work on his part in order to win a championship.

If I do my part and some others don't, then a change would have to happen... If this change does not happen, then, the Bucks can move forward without me, or I can move on without the Bucks.

As a bulls fan, I hope the bucks fail him and he leaves. Come play with Lauri, Lavine, and Mikal Bridges (or whoever is 2018 pick)

He's coming to Golden State. Curry and Nash have been working on this for a while. Ya'll don't believe me though.

As a fellow Bulls fan, he isn't going to leave $$ on the table to go from a bad team to an awful one.

Unless he likes having the month of May off of course

I kinda wish he and AD teamed up. Would love it if it was on the Bucks and a small market team would become a dynasty, but if not then anywhere really. They would wreck havoc.

I am shocked that the Lakers have never been linked to him. I mean, he fits every requirement for a Giannis to Lakers report.

Requirement 1. Are you a superstar?

If yes then the Lakers are front runners to land you per all insider reporting.

Wasn't Magic fined for comments relating directly to Giannis?

This is to be expected. Every drafted super star gives the home team 2 contracts to put a team around him before going elsewhere. No one wants to be like KG & the Wolves. AD is likely thinking the same thing if the Pels can't get it together.

"He's coming to Golden State. Draymond and Durant have been working on this for a while. Ya'll don't believe me though."

FIFY

Draymond is probably texting him already and Durant has a legion of fake social media accounts set up with fake Instagram model avatars to encourage him to make the move

Lebron set the example in 2010. It takes superteams to win multiple championships. It's been that way forever - the Shaq/Kobe Lakers, the Jordan Bulls, the Magic Lakers, ect. But Lebron changed things in the sense that players could control their destiny if the organization that drafted them couldn't give them the superteam in their primes.

I remember just a year or two ago he said he could never leave Milwaukee or play for a big city and got praised. A lot changes in a year or two.
