Boos when he stepped up to the plate but cheers after he hit it.
I think fans are happy they saw history.
I think he will still hit.
He may break it tonight.

Damn, what a sweet swing. level and compact. That ball jumped off the bat.

Loved the hug at home plate also.

Congrats to Barry. As somebody said, these type of moments bring tears to my eyes. Barry's history is well known, but #755 is impressive regardless.

Much more cheers than boos at Petco.

that kinda makes me laugh a little. Its funny how they all booed him and held up those asterisk signs as he comes to the plate and then goes out to LF each inning but then those are the same people that are watching the game through their cameras hoping to get a good picture and then cheering him afterwards. when they were panning the crowd as he was coming out of the dugout after he hit it, I saw one fan holding a camera in one hand a camera in the other.

Selig's reaction was odd and kinda funny

Like "*eyebrows rise* Welp, there we go - wowzers"

ESPN needs to show his full reaction. Before he hit to homeplate.

Was pretty cool to watch it. Regardless of his steroid use (yes, I said "his steroid use"), performance enhancing drugs don't make someone into one of the best hitters in the history of the game. It still takes a lot of talent and skill to do what he has done and will continue to do.

He's still an ass, but my God is he a good hitter
