Will not finish the season under .500 for the seventh straight year. You gotta recognize that as a Clipper fan.

I figgered the Suns would be happy to stay close for a half
then let themselves lose
and we pulled away in the 2nd half without much of a fight

IMO this was Austin's [team-leading +25] best all-around game of the year
had to play out of position yet again--starting PG with Milos out and was 8 assists/1 TO until a couple sloppy giveaways when the game was already won

the thing is, his offense has fallen off lately, but I think that's because his defensive effort has really picked up
held Lowry to 11 points the other day

even his 3 TOs tonight were balanced by 3 steals
and 8 assists/3 TO ratio is quite acceptable for a fill-in PG

props to Tobias, of course
but although he scored 27, he was only plus+1
that's why you have to watch the game
Austin kept us in it all the way

then we finished 'em off :lift:

let's cream those punks!!

Game was close in the 1st half, glad that we pulled away in the 2nd half. I had a feeling that we could build a lead on the Suns. This is our 4th straight win after losing 4 in a row. I feel more comfortable about our playoff hopes. We still have a shot to make it if this team wants it.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

1 game out of the playoffs. I do not know what the tiebreaker situation is for the Clippers.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

NO TIEBREAKERS

Post#10 » by Wammy Giveaway » Fri Mar 30, 2018 8:44 pm

Clippers have to win every single game, and the odds are stacked against them.

4-7 against the top three seeds in the west. They have Blazers today.

5-19 against seeds 4 through 8 in both conferences. They have Pacers, Spurs, Jazz and Pelicans.

Lose any one of these games, they're automatically out.
