Bigger Gary Harris offensively. Elite perimeter defense and ability to switch 1-4. That's an amazing player.

I agree. He could be a 2 guard in the right team. Hughe defensive upside if posible... For instance that would make Philly a top 2-3 defensive team in the league.

I'm hoping we snag him with our pick but I'm starting to think he'll get picked just before us, especially considering he's been playing well in the tournament while some of the other guys have done no favors for their stock recently.

Like him as a prospect but I think he's a bit overrated given his solid season on the best offensive team in the country at age 21.
He's in the 8-12 range as the safest pick in that range. Could go as high as 7 but more likely falls to 10

Absolutely. Could attach a minor asset (e.g. TJ or Holmes) to trade up if necessary.

Don't see the Thompson comparison. Bridges is longer, much more disruptive on defense, and clearly more athletic. At the same time, Klay is a generational shooter and Mikal simply isn't that. They are just different players, but I wouldn't blink twice if Bridges was indeed picked in the top 5 – I have him there myself.

Klay wasn’t Klay before he was in the NBA. Bridges can be as good if not better once he’s in the NBA. He needs to add a little to his game, but nothing that can’t be done relatively soon.

I really like Bridges for the Magic. Think he’s exactly the kind of player they want, he fits in perfectly on the wing where he could help space the floor for others and provide defense.

Really nice breakdown and some good observations. I never noticed how much he cuts down the middle. That’s something that won’t be as effective in the NBA unless he gets better at running curls and adds more fakes to his arsenal.

He really needs to add some turnarounds in the post. Every clip I watched was him going middle and bullying the guy.

Bridges is a better shooter coming out of college than Klay was. doesn't mean he'll be that in the NBA like Klay became, but its silly, just based on the same point in their career that Bridges can't become similar to Klay as a shooter. probably not likely because Klay is so great, but at the same point in their career Bridges is right there.

That's an interesting comp and I like it. If he learns to move off-ball like Miller did and is within reach of his efficiency he's probably worth a number one pick, obviously that's an unlikely outcome but even if he's a shadow of Miller that's still a very valuable player. Still, a Milleresque upside is an all-time upside.

I guess in that if he imitated Reggie Miller on offense could be some fraction as good and then he could make up for it by being better on defense.
