you might now want to lament injuries on a game day with Portland. Their franchise history has been altered by injuries more then any other franchise

I’m aware- bill Walton, Sam Bowie, Brandon Roy, and Greg Oden.

The clippers have their own sorry history of injuries too- Walton was almost never healthy with the clippers, Norm Nixon tore his Achilles, Marques Johnson injured his neck, Danny Manning and Ron Harper both had torn ACLs, Elton brand tore his Achilles, and then all of the injuries to cp3 and Blake Griffin in the playoffs. Add this ridiculous year in I think the clippers win the injury championship unfortunately!

When is the last time this team was completely healthy though? What is that even?

12-13, Billups out most of the season, Blake injures ankle in the playoffs

13-14, Redick missed most of the season, Paul missed 15-20 games, Barnes missed like 20 games and Dudley played fat and injured the whole season.

14-15 Blake missed about 15 games, Jamal about 15-20 games, Paul in the playoffs which made a possible sweep become a 7 game loss

15-16, Blake missed most of the season, both Paul and Blake in the playoffs which wasted a chance at a hobbled Warriors and one of the deeper and the best defensive team the Clippers had in the Paul/Griffin era

16-17, last season, both Paul and Blake missed about 20 games and then Blake in the playoffs.

This season a lot of peripheral guys missed games, but compared to the previous teams that weren't as deep (except 13-14 at guard), it was basically the same impact on ability to win as those teams having the stars out. We should just consider it the norm  .

Sadly, you are correct. At some point it has to stop, right?

I mean I guess you expect Gallinari to get injured, but not this frequently. Other than Griffin earlier in the season the other guys weren’t exactly injury prone players. It is just awful. This would have been a very good team- not good enough to contend, but just below that level

Beverley, Gallo and Blake were/are all injury prone guys or guys that have missed a lot of games/year. Supposedly Milos has had some durability issues in the past. DJ missing games due to injury though, that was just the cherry on top, lol

CP3 and Blake had season-ending injuries within minutes of each other in the playoffs against Portland. I'd say we're the one team Blazer fans can't complain about injuries to.
