Wish we would start Moreland or Ellen's son and let Tolly feast on the 2nd unit with Ish. This is a W. 105-87.

Start Moreland at power forward? He should be seeing the floor as little as possible, much less starting, much less starting off-position. Ellenson could start, but Van Gundy isn't having any of that. Too radical. It breaks his rotation, which is much more important to him than mere effectiveness.

Henry never got a chance until now to play meaningful minutes. He is doing just fine. He will be buried behind Griffin/Leuer and Tolliver? or another vet again next season. Another wasted draft pick that will work out elsewhere down the line.

Van Gundy signed Leuer to a sizeable, multi-year deal weeks after drafting Ellenson. He did the same thing to Kennard with Galloway. Whatever. It's hilarious that some fans and shill writers justify drafting Kennard over Mitchell as a "win now" pick when Van Gundy clearly intended Kennard to fight for his role to begin with. And if Kennard were to win that fight, we'd be stuck with $21 million of Langston Galloway on the bench. Lose-lose for the Pistons. Come to think of it, that's exactly what's happened.

Only 7 posts the day after a game... I am pretty sure that's the worst this board has seen since 2001 when it first started and even then I posted a dozen times myself. Shows how done fans are with this season.

No draft pick is a nail in the coffin for interest in a season like this.

6pm was also the michigan game. I'm done with this team myself, been done. At this rate though I believe svg is giving himself another year with the team. It's really unfair seeing the team's record with jackson playing and not playing. There's a massive difference and it's sad.

Absolutely agree. I can get over the drafting fails as its pretty common for teams to screw it up. BUT i can't forgive overpaying for fringe rotation players who SVG and co think might be ready for bigger roles. That hasn't worked at all. They were fringe rotation players for a damn reason. For the price of Leuer, Galloway, and Boban we could afford a super star lol

If we were smart, we would have waited for the market to cool down and sign guys for near vet minimum deals. I guarantee we could have gotten equal usefulness (or should i say uselessness) to Galloway/Boban/Leuer.

Social media, FB groups, are making realgm irrelevant.

That's definitely a contributor. The days of the message board has long passed. I really enjoy the Pistons community on RealGM, though. Which keeps me coming back.
