He's awesome, already a building block and should be an ideal second banana for y'all. I thought he was a little underrated at draft time and he's been significantly better than I expected.

Watching him always makes me think that it's sad how we could've seen a decade's worth of Ainge-Hinkie trade battles that would've been as entertaining as the game itself. Danny runs circles around Colangelo, almost not fair.

He’s at his best right now imo. Teams are playing him hard and he’s not slowing down with the shooting or scoring. Could not ask for more what I’ve seen from him since Kyrie went down. I still see a future potential superstar in this kid. Can’t wait for his prime.

Tatum has been playing his best ball of the season now, peaking at the right time just before the playoffs.

He started the season admirably strong and playing very well, then slowed down a little (probably tired) around the All-Star game, and the last few weeks has been playing exceptional basketball.

He'll be a fantastic player for many, many years to come.

Remember when haters used to put Tatum down because he was playing with Kyrie.

Because Simmons fans started condescending Mitchell or straight out disrespecting him, so others have been forced to get onto their level.

Nobody has reached your level as to condescend or disrespect someone by making stuffs up.

Word. I especially love his “Simmons has trouble finishing at the rim” ish. (Ben is THIRD in the NBA in finishing %j.

Whatever. I am pretty sure that Simmons is going to win this award, and then this ends. I think the crazy thing, though, is that I - and others - aren’t saying that Mitchell sucks. I certainly respect what he is doing for the Jazz.

All that I am saying is that Simmons is having a better season and is more deserving of the award. That’s all.

Coolest thing about this was that he played PG for extended stretches when Rozier sat. His handle and creativity are very underrated.

Tatum is a future superstar. You can just tell. He checks all of the boxes.

Can shoot
Can rebound
Can defend
Can create
Can post up
Can finish at the rim
Has a killer instinct.

He’s going to be very good for a very long time. Great pick by Danny Ainge.
Handsome.

Redraft #1 Overall Pick in 2017 Draft

Post#2531 » by chris4celts » Sun Apr 1, 2018 12:13 pm

Forget about who owns the pick, if you had to choose the top pick for your team based on what you know now, who would you choose? If you choose "Other" please explain.

If you want it to stop, just pick Tatum, so my man can get on with life.

Mitchell for sure. Lonzo and Fultz didnt imprtess me at all so far, but I know Fultz hasnt play for months, so I am not judging him. But I doubt he will be as good as Mitchell.

Tatum or Mitchell. Fultz possibly after more scrutinized playing time. Mitchell is great, will likely be an All Star. I just think Tatum certainly has shown the higher potential and more realistic capability of being a true NBA superstar. Tatum has been absolutely balling with Kyrie out.
One day Marcus Smart will be defensive player of the year, mark my words.

Other. Trade the pick.
The draft was not even close to how good it was hyped up.

Sleepers like Mitchell appear every year, theres no way to predict that.
I like Tatum and Fox, but rather have a sure thing
