Game Thread 04/01: Pacers vs. IDK, somebody

As the Indiana Pacers continue their push for home-court advantage in the first round of the NBA playoffs, the Los Angeles Clippers need one last run of success to extend the season at least a few games longer.

The Pacers will bring a four-game win streak into Staples Center on Sunday afternoon, looking to go 3-0 on their swing through California if they can top the Clippers. Indiana already has victories over the Warriors and Kings.

The Clippers have a tough task ahead if they want to extend the season into the playoffs. They currently are in ninth place in the Western Conference, two games behind the Jazz and the Pelicans, who are tied for the final two playoff spots.

That could have been really bad on that Flagrant foul by DAJ on Lance, shoved him in the air with both hands and lance lands on his back like a ton of bricks. Could have been a Flagrant 2.

Checking in, talk about some clutch shot-making down the stretch. Big three by Vic, followed by a jumper by Turner, then Collison, and then another huge three by Bogie. They all have ice water running through the veins.

Great game. I felt like watching a mini Westbrook in Oladipo when he was causing havoc with his steals and slalom dunks. It was too bad that they were of too similar cloth to make any meaningful contribution to the roster when they were both on the court. He was not very good with directing the 2nd unit but playing with scrubs & 1-dimensional players seems to have improved his talent appreciation & was a very meaningful experience as he looks much more like a veteran, coolheaded player this year.
