If you believe that the best this team can be with the current coach and core is a first round playoff exit why would you be happy? I'm assuming you believe that somehow this team can contend. Those that do not are ready for the rebuild to start instead of delaying it with near playoff misses resulting in late lottery picks and being a first round exit. If Presti hits on some of those picks in the 12-20 range it keeps the team as a fringe playoff team and they will be stuck in purgatory for a long time.

That is the point. You have what some view as unrealistic expectations so you think they should push forward. However, if you were to believe they will not ever be better then last year, 5 playoff games, while Russ is still here due to the roster, coaching, cap situation, etc. would you still want to push forward or would you be for something that would cause them to change course?

I’m a fan of the thunder but not particularly tied to this roster. I like Ferguson and Adams. Russ frustrates me to death. He’s still a good player. I think we would be better off rebuilding and being ready to compete once golden state peters out.

You can use your emojis all you like but yesterday you said your suggestion to fixing this team was to trade a guy who will be a free agent this summer. I’ll be happy to have this discussion with you but you need to show that you understand basic salary cap information and the current state of Oklahoma City’s roster. :noway:  :banghead: :noway:  :banghead: see I can do that too but it doesn’t prove anything.

I would love for us to be able to compete with Russ, George and Adams. A LOT has to change for that to happen. In fact so much has to happen that I think the better option is to actually start a rebuild. I don’t think the thunder will miss the playoffs for ten years. You’re free to disagree. This is a message board and that’s youre right and I won’t question if you’re a fan or not.

I’m objective. If grant can make as much progress this coming offseason as he did the last offseason, and he can be re-signed cheaply, he can be a useful player regardless the direction the team goes.

Yes. I’ve watched most every game. Have you examined OKCs cap situation? I’m still waiting for your plan to make OKC a team that has a higher ceiling than a first round exit.
