Curious to see the Braun/Thames platoon this series. I can't imagine they go a strict righty/lefty platoon but maybe I'm overrated Braun and underrated Thames.

I can see Braun playing two out of three all season.Aaron It Out wrote:Curious to see the Braun/Thames platoon this series. I can't imagine they go a strict righty/lefty platoon but maybe I'm overrated Braun and underrated Thames.

Braun's gonna play for Santana a handful of times and maybe Yelich a few.

Braun starting for Santana today. Him and Thames will be the most impacted. Until injuries work this out for them I expect they also get Braun in the lineup and give Yelich and Cain an off day every couple weeks too.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

We're going to need the good Davies right away this year. He had a fairly terrible start to the year last season that we probably can't afford again.

Re: Home Opening Series Thread: Cardinals @ Brewers
Yeah I’m thinking it will be a straight platoon at 1st with Braun also getting some starts vs righties in place of Santana. Basically Braun, Thames and Domingo rotating 3 spots. Extra starts for Domingo on the occasional rest days for Cain/Yelich.
And then a similar rotation at SS/2b with Arcia, Villar, Perez and Sogard rotation.
I love the depth and don’t feel as urgent about trading an OF anymore.

Way too long to review
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
