Draft order:

Draft rules:

1. Subject to the rules to be set out below, players from the 1999-00 season to the 2016-17 season will be available to be drafted. You can draft players that came into the league before 1999 but the season you choose can't be before 1999-00.

2. You will be required to draft a total of 8 players. Each of your players must play a minimum of 8 minutes in your rotations.

3. Each player you select must have played at least 50% of regular season games in the season selected.

4. Your team will be allowed a combined total of 85.0 FGA corresponding with the specific seasons indicated for each player.

5. We will be doing a modified snake draft. It will go like this: ABBABABA

6. Players will get a maximum of a 2-hour window to make their selection when they are on the clock. If you still have not chosen a player by then, you will be skipped. Also, if you know ahead of time that you won't be available to make your pick on the clock then please PM your selection to myself or another participant. NOTE: If you miss one pick and have failed to make it by the time your next pick comes around, you will be skipped.

7. The clock will be turned off between 12 midnight and 9 AM EDT.

8. Draft order will be completely randomized.

9. After you have made your draft selection, please quote and/or PM the person that goes after you so they will know that it is their turn and they are on the clock. You may not change your pick after it has been made, even if the next person in the order has not picked yet.

10. The winner of the draft will be determined by a rankings followed by a four-team playoff tournament.

I am between legitimately five players here. I will end up taking a guy that I am not sure that I have ever had. He had one of the most historic offensive seasons of all time, and also cheaper ones which were still at an elite level.

My pick here is Stephen Curry.

This is something I normally wouldn't do, but not a fan of my other options and want to try it.

Kobe Bryant.

This seems like a fun (and fairly inexpensive) international combo to build around.

While there are PLENTY of defensive centers left in this pool, none of the big men left had quite the level of two-way impact, and that's including PF. This guy will give a nice inside-out game with Curry.

Alonzo Mourning. 3rd in MVP voting in 2000. Far and away best season of his career. He will be welcomed as our Robin. And in most matchups, he will be asked to simply protect the rim when going against the defensive-centric Centers that make up a majority of this pool.
