Quincy Acy fined $25k

Brooklyn Nets forward Quincy Acy and Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond have each been fined for their roles in an on-court altercation, it was announced today by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

I think it's necessary gotta stand their ground and not let teams punk them. Acy said Drummond threw an elbow.

'We stripped the ball, going for the ball, he shot an [elbow] and I overreacted,” said Acy post-game. “I felt like he took a swing. Things definitely got out of hand. It’s not how I’m supposed to act. We dove on the floor for a loose ball and he just kind of shot an [elbow]. I just overreacted.'

That fine has to hurt, it isn't like Acy is making huge money.

Goddamn I wanted Acy to clock Drummond after he pushed him though, that was uncalled for. That would have been a bad financial decision though.
