Do the Nets play the Cavs again this season? I'd personally relish the chance to see the Nets contribute to Bron's tears of unfathomable sadness, just before he books his flight to HOU/LA this summer

I believe we see them on March 25th.

Does anyone ever look at past drafts and play the what if game?

Like right now that Kemba article got me thinking and I looked at the 2011 draft. Say the Charlotte Jordan's take Klay at 9th, who do the Warriors go with at 11? Kemba? Does Kemba go at 10 instead of Jimmer? Do they go with Kawhi?

Kemba Walker was colder than a dead dog's d**k and now he's an atomic flamethrower mid-August!

That was glorious though. One loss closer to the Knix under on the season. Trey Burke was ridiculous though.

So, we just going to ignore the Grizzlies added Marquis Teague and now, Marshon Brooks? They’ve dialed into the all-time nets tank team.

I never understood why he couldn't stick in the NBA.

I also think being drafted by the Billy King run Nets did him no favors. Avery Johnson used to jerk this kid around all the time.

Kidd article:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2767171

Big chunk on Brooklyn:

In Brooklyn, Kidd had a veteran-laden roster—Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, Joe Johnson, Deron Williams and Brook Lopez—but the troubles started on the bench, and a falling-out with lead assistant Lawrence Frank.

Within weeks, sources say, the staff had divided into two factions: one loyal to Kidd, and one to Frank, who was Kidd's former head coach in New Jersey.

Kidd is proud of the way the Nets rallied after Jan. 1, with Garnett moving to center for the Lopez and Pierce becoming the small-ball power forward. That tactical change was made possible by Lopez's foot injury, though it was a move that Kidd wanted to make earlier, per multiple sources. But Garnett and Pierce had expressed reluctance, and Kidd was hesitant to demote Lopez, given his long standing with the franchise.

In Brooklyn, Kidd wanted to bench Williams, a former All-Star, in favor of journeyman point guard Shaun Livingston, per multiple sources (a fact Kidd confirms, saying, "Shaun probably deserved to start"). When players saw that Kidd had lost faith in Williams, they gave up on him, too, sources say.

Is the West overhyped? I know we're gonna excuse Lebron's dominance on the East being wack, but other than Houston and Golden State, are the 3-8 seed in the west just as trash as the teams in the east? I mean, the Jazz and Philly are the 4th seeds right now. The Timberwolves are the Bucks of the West. I think it's safe to say these conferences are equally garbage outside of the top teams. Is this season as close to parity as the NBA can get?

I wouldn't call Philly and Utah garbage. Both are good teams that have a healthy balance of vets with high level talent youth leading the way.

Philly could mess around and sneak into the east finals if they can catch that 3rd seed and end up in a 2nd round match up with the winner of Boston and the 7th seed.

I'm not knocking Philly - it's just funny to see how the national media sings the praises of the "competition" in the 3-8th seeds of the West, while simultaneously dismissing the competition in the East

I think that the east has some good teams. Toronto, Boston, Cavs, Philly, Indiana are solid clubs.
