Sixers vs Cavs is going to be huge tomorrow. Lebron really wants that damn 3rd seed after his team has been **** most of the season. I just hate some of those Wizards players. I can’t stand them and it would be awful to lose to those guys when so many of our players are missing.

To be fair it'd suck to lose to Philly also.

True. I actually like Embiid but I despise their fan base now more than ever. It sucks, we are so much better than either of those teams now each of them are probably licking their chops including Lebron against a broken Celtics team in either a first or second round matchup. We would put up a fight though against any team not named Cleveland imo even with the injuries.

BKN won tonight. I hope they win out to further diminish the value of that pick for Cleveland, lol. That pick could end up 10th if they did.

They've been tanking for like over a month then. They have great foresight.

There is no doubt in my mind Washington is tanking to play us. None at all. Those guys locked in are the 2nd best team in the East if John Wall plays well. What an awful matchup that would be for us. Absolutely awful.

Wizards fully tanking for 7th. Pricks. Bucks are a joke too.

If we get the Wizards, got to guess who will become the "game 7 4th quarter hero" for us a la Olynyk.

My early vote is this guy:

Shane's moment is coming. It is coming. He knows how mentally soft Wall and Beal are. He can't wait. He is going to channel "game 7 vs. the Warriors Kyrie."

Says the #1 reason LeBron will leave is that Gilbert is a big Trump supporter. This guy nailed LeBron to Miami in 2010 and had him going back to Cleveland 2 days before everyone else so I trust him.

Interesting. However if policy would be the decisive factor in this decision, Philly doesn't make that much sense either. Josh Harris (obligatory vomit emoji) has been linked to funding the business of Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and was considered for a position in the White House, at least reportedly.

My god I hope the Wizards are truly tanking for the 7th spot. Karma is a bitch and it would be so sweet to knock their asses out of the playoffs for the second time in as many years with our top 2 guys out.

This year, the Celtics call this "Thursday".

LeBron hasn't ever done it in his career of 15 years?! My god, we've done it how many times just this year!

Ah, the results from this poll confirm what we all have known for years. Throwing this link up in every game thread against that team from here on in. #lowstandards

Nah. They definitely aren't the second-best team in the East. Cleveland, Toronto and Boston (WITH a healthy Irving) are all better than the Wizards.

Unless you meant the Wizards are better than us in our current dilapidated state, which then I would agree.

But are they tanking to play us now that they know Irving is out? Probably. A healthy Wizards team should beat this current version of the Celtics in a seven-game series.

Meh. The Wizards beating us with Kyrie, Smart and Theis (not to mention Hayward) all sidelined would mean absolutely nothing to me. They want to gloat about beating our B team? Go right ahead. We'll be hanging more banners while they'll be a perennial second-round ballclub.

Would love to share your confidence, but the Star Player advantage would be way too big in their favour.

Looks like Embiid may miss significant time in the first round. I can see Philly being over cautious and holding him out all together
