if we lose to Toronto and Cavs beat Philly, we can't get to 3rd. if Philly wins, we still have a mathematical chance as they have 3 more games to play.

Nate defenitely must listen to me... I was saying during last week that we cant win in Denver and Toronto and we should rest starters...everybody knew that we will be 5th at the end... so next two games we should play with Mad Antz players... all other should be send on exotic massage...

pregame announcers said Nate seemed willing to rest starters if home court lost. I don't know that he'd be defeatist and concede first Charlotte game though. final game could be different. we'll see.

If the Cavs win tonight, I think we'll probably start the regular guys and pull them early and go deep into the rotation. Tomorrow is the last game for Charlotte also, and with nothing on the line for them, it would behoove them to have the same approach and protect their top guys. The only other thing to consider if Cleveland wins, is that it'll be Fan Appreciation night for the BLF crowd, and I'm sure the guys would like to give the fans a good show. But TJ Leaf and Ike Anigbogu can do that since we don't get to see them often.

Now, if Cleveland LOSES in New York tonight, it's a slightly different story. The odds of them losing either game to the Knicks are next to nothing, let alone both. But, if we have a shot at home court, I would want to play to for it. I'd rather see LeBron with every disadvantage, no matter how small, since we'll be facing him AGAIN. On top of that, if the Cavs lose tonight and we win tomorrow, that will force the Cavs to play to win their game on Wednesday.

I always think about the Colts giving up the perfect season and that the players really didn't want to quit on it. Players want to play, and play to win. So if there's something to gain, give them the chance. Just my opinion.

I get some rest. But guys need to be sharp heading into the playoffs. A 2 week break would not have been smart.
