Game Thread 04/06: Pacers vs. Raptors

Post#1 » by boomershadow » Fri Apr 6, 2018 1:01 pm

The clinching number for the Toronto Raptors is one.

They need to win one of their remaining four games to clinch first place in the Eastern Conference. In the unlikely event of that not happening, one loss by the second-place Boston Celtics, who also have four games left, would also wrap up the East.

Meanwhile, the Pacers (47-32) defeated the Golden State Warriors 126-106 at home Thursday night, led by 28 points from Bojan Bogdanovic. They have won six of seven — including two wins over the Warriors without Steph Curry — and are fifth in the Eastern Conference, two games behind the Cleveland Cavaliers and 1 1/2 games behind the Philadelphia 76ers.

Indiana wins tonight. Indiana has done well the last few weeks - a couple of losses, but wins against some good opponents. Probably gunning for home court as well, so will play extra hard.

Should be a good game.

Collective off day against the best team in the East.

Nothing to worry about. Simply continue to make smart moves in the offseason like the Raptors have been doing.

yuck. like we didn't even show up to play.

Sixers beat Cavs so now it's looking like we'll get LeBron in the first round. If we go 2-0 and the Cavs go 0-2 we can still get home court, but that's pretty unlikely.

Not Lebron again ****

Sixers and Simmons would have been much more fun for me to watch. And we still have to repay Embiid for hurting Sabonis while flopping.

Great... we will play again against Bron... another defeat in 1st round... lets go for Kawhi or PG immediately... we should need more talent next season...

I already said we can try... if it doesnt work we should go on other options... someone like Kemba or Porter...

put yourself back to last August, wouldn't a first round exit have been beyond all expectations? no reason to "rain on their parade."

This is the weakest team LeBron has ever had since the OG Cavs days. Of all years to be terrified of LeBron, this isn't the one.

Good post Jake.

Not scared at all over that Cavs' team. I mean ultimately they'll win because of Lebron and us playing against the refs too, but there's nothing to be scared about.
