I gotta give props to the Knicks for supporting their fans who paid for tickets and not tanking this game. They had 27 wins and there were 3 teams within range for tankathon: Nets (now 26 wins, 2 games left), Bulls (26 wins), and Kings (26 wins). If a team is tied in the standings, a random drawing determines the higher lotto seed.

Theoretically then, the Knicks could have gone as high as 6th seed in lotto. They chose to win instead. Good for them.
