MrCheerios wrote:There is a real contrast between Lakers fans and GS when they're dominant. Lakers fans generally had the "We're stacked as hell. All you haters are just jealous that you're not us." The more stacked they were the cockier they were. Golden State fans will knock their team down in an attempt to seem less dominant or to make their star players look better. "We're not that good. Klay and Green are just role players. KD didn't break the league. Please don't hate us!"

The fans really do seem to mirror their star players' personalities. Kobe didn't give a damn what other people thought. KD is insecure as hell.

Give Warriors fans time, especially long time fans, who are used to perpetual losing and never even sniffing the playoffs for nearly two decades. If the Dubs manage to win 10 titles in 30 years like the Lakers did from 1980-2010, I think the Warriors fan base will catch up to the Lakers in the cockiness department. The first team I really rooted for was the Showtime Lakers but then I moved to the bay in "87 and I became a Warriors Run TMC fan, rooted for them through barley any thick and a lot of thin. Now, I am just savoring every moment while it lasts and when you are winning, the hate from other fan bases is just an added bonus.

We normally give them a good fight and with us coming in hot, there is a decent shot at an upset. I would be slightly reminiscent of when the young Warriors upset the 57-win Nugs to put them on the map as contenders back in 2012-13.

As a GSW fan I want no part of Utah or the Nuggets.

No Curry and Klay still putting up 20+ ppg. I thought he depended on Steph. Back to the drawing board.

It's almost as if Klay is a great SG. :oops: I think other than 2 Warrior fans, most appreciate what he brings. I do not think Warriors should be worried first round vs anyone without Steph. Having KD is good enough and will give Steph 5 whole weeks to get close to the level needed. 2nd round to warm up and then the big series in the western conference finals.

But this also includes games with KD and games all 4 all-stars missed, right?
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Not sure.

Curry is, however, far and away the team leader in On/Off. And in RPM.

Curry On/Off -----------> +11.6
Bell On/Off -------------> +07.6

Curry RPM --------------> +6.03
Green RPM -------------> +3.57

Losing a player at that level will hurt a team, even a team as talented as the Warriors.
Thank you Nico!

16-13 without Curry on the year after the loss to the Pelicans in Oakland tonight.

That's a .552 wining percentage which equates to 45 wins (45-37) over an 82-game season.

This is the first time in 4 years the Warriors will not win at least 60 games in the regular season.
Thank you Nico!

I've said this before he went down but can anyone tell me why kd is supposed to he the superior player? Yeah he has more impact on defense since he is much taller but curry impacts the game way more than kd that IDK why people keep saying that kd is better

Because KD's a much better player?

Did you watch him against NO today? Certainly can't pin the loss on him even if he faded a bit down the stretch.

More impactful for a team doesn't equal better player, sorry.

My favorite part is that KD is supposed to be a generational talent and lock for 2nd best player on earth(some say he's #1 :lol:)....yet he's not held to that same standard that guys like Lebron and Kobe are....even Steph gets roasted for struggling ONE game against Delly like 3 years ago....KD really is playing w/ house money I guess

You're right, KD has as many Final MVPs as Iggy...and for similar reasons. (E.g., both were left open to allow Curry double-teams.)

I guess Iggy and KD are equal then? Who knew?

Curry is the better and more valuable player against every team in the league except the one that has the 2nd GOAT playing KD's position.

Curry takes on all the defensive attention while still putting up MVP level numbers yet Iggy/KD get all the glory....some people clearly see what they want to see...that's if they even watched those finals series :roll:

KD lead the league in scoring multiple times while playing with a complete ballhog, but yeah he needs Curry's spacing to score :lol: :lol:

My man ran to Curry's team after Curry took his heart multiple times in the 16' season and supplanted him as the 2nd best player in the world....then he gets 1v1 coverage because every team is scared of what Curry/Klay can do off the ball...KD offers nothing beyond 1v1 scoring and help defense on teams that were/are both great defensively without him...tell the whole story bruh :nod:
